Interesting how nobody wants to climb to the top of these when fully extended upwards lol.
I have the 5m version. I've managed to get up onto the first rung above the pivot point but no further (and that's after i put it across two wooden benches in the horizontal position to test it's strength a bit). The problem I've found is that because it flexes you have to have the base quite far out - which feels wrong. So far I've actually been okay though - and it's on grass but the next problem is that the higher you go, the wider the side tubes get - as you're climbing to the bottom of the other side which has the wider tubes. Holding onto those is problematic because they get a lot wider while the rungs get narrower.

I HAVE GONE ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP AND I WIEGHT 180 TO 200 POUNDS... JUST DONT USE IT IN THE A FRME POSITION INLESS ITS IN THE FULL EXTENDED HIGHTH.. READ REVIEWS YOU WILL FALL IF YOU DONT STRAP THE STEPS THAT ARNT EXTENED BOTH SIDES OF LADDER IN ORDER TO NOT FALL FORWARDS OR BACKWARDS... LADDER WORKS FINE IN EXSTENTION LADDER POSITION

Thank you Mark, mine has been a comedy of errors since it was delivered. I had a terrible time getting it out of the box without it telescoping all over the place. I haven't quite won that wrestling match yet...

Hi, i bought one of these ladders from amazon, i have a problem that maybe you can help me with. when i use it as a fold lader at the hight of 4 feet high and more the steps does not lock in place, the folded part yes but not the steps so when i go up on it and lean forward the steps are not lock in place so the un rised steps lifts up making this dangerours to a point i am about to return it. is there a trick to stop the non lift steps to raise?

The steps are too thin. High pressure on the feet. Not suitable for long hours of use

Hi Mark. A fellow tradesman had a smiliar ladder on a job yesterday. Great idea. The only thing I found was that the treads when vertical are level but once leaned against a surface they were angles making it uncomfortable to stand on whereas my extension ladder has angled treads so once leaned they are level. What is it like standing on these?

Hi Great Review, But just a question can you use yours say at half height when in the A frame position ???
as mine are extremely dangerous and the bottom segments dont lock when collapsed , do yours ??? thanks

Did you ever solve this? I have the same problem. I want to use it indoors with low ceilings so cannot have the A frame fully
Extended. It is very dangerous if I do that.

@chris veall hi chris, i have learnt that you need to step higher than the collapsed section then its stable as your weight is above it , but to be doubly sure i have a luggage strap ratcheted around the collapsed sections to stop them extending i did use a velcrostap which worked ok but mine was a little soo short ... its such a pitty they dont lock as there a great idea, and storage saving idea. but i must admit the 5m ones i got were heavier then i thought

@@PlanetRuncorn thank you for replying. That’s what I shall do - strap them down. It is a shame they didn’t think of that 👍🏼

Yes it can be used if not fully extended but you have to be careful and know what you're doing. Why are you posting everything IN CAPITALS?

I have a ceiling height of about 11 feet - would I be able to reach (safely) using the ladder when it is in its triangular shape? I am just under 6 foot tall.
