Schezwan Sauce is an Indo-Chinese condiment with origins probably in Calcutta. Schezwan Chutney is a more Desi-er version of it. Or maybe Chutney is a Desi term for Sauce.
This was really fun to watch! It's well made video. I don't think I'd actually make this myself. There are so many store bought ingredients in this recipe, you'd might as well just buy the sauce itself. The only thing you're making yourself is the Kashmiri chili paste really. You're adding store bought ketchup, store bought red chili sauce, store bought vinegar... not to mention how time consuming and labor intensive this is. You have to peel and chop all that garlic and ginger. Also, this has a much shorter shelf life, you'd have to use it quickly. And good luck trying to get the smell out of your house! It's going to smell like a Chinese restaurant for a least a week. I might use this recipe if this is not available near me and I'm really craving it. So thank you all the same

Tried today came very good and was a bit less spicy and later watched your video again and realized did not add green chilly paste. However my children liked it very much. Tried again and was perfect. My children's were forcing to prepare this from past week or so. Today they enjoyed schezwan noodles a lot.
