Great channel brings back memories at your age, i bought a white mk2 mini 1000 for £4.80 and an early Mk1 for £14 this was near 50 years ago and we were all 18 / 19 but hey we all learned to rebuild them and weld them and spray them up.....cheap motoring.
Excellent, a mini on the road for under a grand. Must be worth five times that. I saw the MoT advisories as well, and nothing to worry about, some tyres which cost buttons on a mini and a couple of insignificant things. Great job, and very entertaining/informative.
Great work, I binge watched all these and your self motivation and skill is impressive as is how unfazed you are when the unexpected crops up. One thing you left off the cost of the car is your time; that needs to be factored in even if you don't consider it a 'cost' but a labour of love. Looking forward to seeing it all finished. Thanks for sharing.
What a great job you have done on a budget and on your own. Back in the mid 80's I had a 1275 GT mini with the Webasto sunroof which I got from swapping my Honda 125 CD benly motorbike for. The mini was bright pink lol but I stripped the paint did the body work and lots of similar things you have done to this mini. I got my painter mate to paint it Rosso red for 100 quid with Paint he had left from a Ferrari paint job he had done. Put the original White1275 decals down the bottom sides of the doors and White painted wheels made it look a million dollars. Wish I still had it. Nice one Cash Machine
I like your videos. Nice straightforward presentation, no ego or histrionics, good budget fixes. I like the fact you often work outside, just like a lot of us do or did. Great job on the mini, thanks.
Fantastic work again mate give yourself a massive pat on the back 👍🏻👍🏻. New camera comes over mint 👍🏻. The road to the MOT place looks like a road I used to drive in Norfolk 😅😅
What a transformation. A lot of work to get it there but you came out on top, for sure. I had several Minis years ago but the newest was a ‘77. Sure wish I still had the ‘75 pickup. 👍🏻
YAAY!😃well done mate, absolutely fantastic, brilliant job you have saved another Classic mini from the clutches of it being scrapped, Have lots of fun driving your Cooper around until you do the full resto on it, can't wait to see more videos of your Mini 👍😃
What fantastic work keeping the mini and other lovely old cars on the road - and with amazing savings ! With your skills I'd suggest looking out for a Jaguar XK8 with the huge 4.2 engine in it, they are nortiorious for rust, but you know you way around a welding kit and cutter - you'd probably pick up a failed MoT pretty cheap and with your skills would get it back on the road nicely ! (no you cant have my xk8, its cost me way too much :D)
Thank you very much! I've always wanted an XK8! Like you say I could probably get an MOT failure quite cheap, 😂 are they good to drive I've never had one or even been in one?
@@cashmachinecars oh yes, i love mine, i tell myself each year to get rid of it, but i love it so much. It chews out the jap boy racers, the engine is huge and still powerful, lets just say it hits the speed limit pretty quick. I keep it for the ocassional drive now and then, but it has done some amazing distances and is incredbly comfortable, as well as fast. If you got a garage, get the coupe version :)
Same electrics, buttons and lights as a Defender. Every Defender owners uses Contact cleaner on intermittent electrics. Most of the times that fixes it. The rest of the time it's a bad earth. Always have contact cleaner in stock.

Love your content, not all glitzy, just real workmanship, well done mate
Thank you I appreciate it!
I've watched a few similar channels like this but yours isn't boring, it's well put together , keep going son

You can’t argue with your work ethic and tenacity. Fair play chap 👍👍

Thank you! Nice I bet that looked fantastic in rosso red!! Would be worth a pretty penny now!
You're a wizard Harry! Just superb....Just messaged you matey. 😊
Top speed
Great work well done 👍🏆
Amazing job! Well done for that budget that’s incredible! Hope you enjoy it for a while as is 👌🏻
Thank you Matt been loving driving it so far! 👍
Bloomin well done !
Great video. Resist the temptation to splurge a lot of cash e.g. on paint, you might well not get it back in increased sales value.
Agreed! Although I could probably paint it myself for around £400, but it's a lot of time and effort if it goes wrong 🤦
That was impressive and an unbelievable bargain!

Thank you I appreciate that a lot! 🙏
Great result - enjoy for the summer 😎
Congratulations! Well done.
Thank you!
Nice effort! The SPI is considered the best of the mini engines... you’ll see at least three times your money back on that!
Hats off to you.

Thank you! Haha it's a fun road that when it's not full of sheep and cows 😉

Brilliant work, well done you!
Thank you! Cheers!
Superb… puts me too shame that my poor mini van is just sitting around waiting for me to get it finished…
Great job, well done. Looking forward to seeng the 924 progress.
Thank you! You and me both!
Love it mate
Great content. Subscribed
Inspirational stuff. Hope your foot gets better soon.
I don't put suds on my windscreen it clogs up the windscreen squirters that can stop the water spitting.
Great job. More videos on the 924 please 😊
Coming soon I promise 👍
Well done mate, fantastic job!
Fab work on a tight budget! 👏👏🙋♂️
i love your hand but nice fix and repair 👍
Fantastic job 👍
Drive it as it is, it has charm being a little ratty. Nice work
Thanks it is a bit but mechanicaly it drives spot on, great fun!
dont forget to make the trailer arches removable lol .)
Haha I won't! Tbh the whole trailer needs a proper overhaul!
Coventry registration ❤
I think average condition classic minis are going for about 8k ?
A frog!? What's that doing on your drive? It reminds me of some frogs I've seen on my drive from Tullah to Kingston.
Unfortunately for me my working conditions are very similar to a frogs! 🤣🤣
@@cashmachinecars I wonder if you'd find it again.
Who has the other sheds and do they do the same as you?
can never understand why everyone on youtube beats metal cold ? just a bit of heat would halve the effort
998 for a 1275 😄
So you took it to an MOT with a duff headlight? WTF?
