I just wanted to say that over the months I have commented on Pina’s videos, I have failed to give you credit for your superb playing and arrangements. I am in bed with the flu, so have some time on my hands 😆 So thanks for all you do to support HSCC and Pina. Super excited for you all as the tour dates expand. This is _such_ a hard song to perform! Very nicely done. I prefer the original chords, rather than the slightly jazzier inversions played here, but still, this is spot-on.
Ms. Pina, that was a very good cover. Years ago, Elton was a mentor on American Idol. Up to that point, I didn't realize he had a 3 or 4 octave range. He made it look so easy that I didn't notice. Watching the contestants try his songs, it became very apparent what he could do. Anything that Elton does, would be tough to give it your own twist. :)

You don’t pick the obvious ones, do you! And what a great interpretation! I think the difference between yours and the original is that Elton’s version is angry, whereas yours is more ‘This is what I’m doing and I’m comfortable with it.’ Maybe that’s too much imagination… I’m glad you’ve got another keyboard arrangement - you couldn’t have tried to copy the original. Although, as a keyboard player myself… Anyway, it’s a brilliant version. Thank you!
