- So I found these supposedly deleted footage in Photos (I guess it auto backup and deleted from my phone). This is the 2.0 direct injection Duratec Ford Focus and the 1.5 Ecoboost Ford Focus side by side. One of my colleagues drive the Ford Focus 2.0 Duratec.

Hi Bobby, I am considering the 2.0 Duratec but you did mention that the dual clutch from it is giving issues. Do you know how bad it is and should I get the old Focus?
It's the newer one that had the torque converter that has less issues. The du clutch powershift is hopeless, guaranteed to develop issues

It is but not many on the road. Even rarer than the mk3 2.0

The Renault Clio drives better, less powerful, and should be more reliable than Ford by far. And Renaults have great service too

Yes Glenn I’m in UK just got 2011 Focus with 1.6 Duratec with 68k miles. They have discontinued it for 3 cylinder 1.0 Ecoboost. Yes it’s quick but no way will it do high mileage it needs to have the guts ripped out of it.
Ecoboost has a terrible head gasket design. duratec all day
