If someone has a problem with display(not graphics card), try to replace the display platine pcb2 fpc rev 1.2 instead of the whole display. This fixed my problem when the display randomly quit on me. Bought the platine for 16$ on aliexpress.
Hi, can I ask you what kind of problem did you experience? Because yesterday my asus display started to flicker and to give me some vertical coloured lines but if I adjusted the position it kind of got better. I went to a shop for repair today and they told me I need a whole new display.
Thanks for bringing a solution. I have the same problem. Do you know if its still possible to find that flat cable anywhere? I tried looking on ali express but perhaps i searched the wrong way or they stopped selling it.
Hello. Does the motherboard of this laptop have a CMOS battery ? I've got a problem with it and I'm trying to reset the Bios to...factory settings hopefully. Do you know what the issue might be if the laptop does not boot the Windows...basically is stuck in Bios, does not go through. Bios settings are looking funny too, however I've tried to update with 5 different drivers and did not recognised any of them, now the ssd is not recognised anymore. No booting options either. Any idea what the problem might be?
Thanks for the video! Do you know if it's possible to buy and replace speakers for this computer? Is it easy to replace them? The right speaker of my computer is partially blown and sounds rattly. thanks!
@@Sellbrokedotcom Thank you. The smaller one on my laptop has been stretched and the audio isn't working. Can that ribbon be replaced? Or would I have to replace the entire display panel?
my laptop model is UX370U but looks ecactly like this computer. I took off all the screws but couldn't seem to get the back lid off. Would you know if there is a hidden screw somewhere?
Any help with what to do... Yesterday my screen would only come on when it was opened to a certain angle. I've looked online and it seems like it may be to do with the screen cable being worn out because of opening and closing it over the years. Or could it be simply that the screen cable has come loose? Would it be worth a novice like me buying a torx screwdriver and attempting this myself, or should I take it to the repair shop? Any information would be great, thanks!
Sounds like a worn cable. It's pretty tough to remove the screen assembly on this model....let alone disassemble the screen assembly itself. If you want to fix it then I would buy the screen as a full assembly and either try to install it yourself (see video for all the steps, it's a lot) or give to a repair shop to install.
@@Sellbrokedotcom That's great. Thanks a lot for the information. I've ordered a tool kit with the anti-static wristband so either way I'm going to have a look. I'm hoping that the cable is just loose, but what you said it's probably a worn cable so I'll do what you said. Let's see! Either way, thanks again!

The microphone/webcam is that connected to the motherboard? If yes where?
It may be the smaller ribbon coming from the display assembly, thats how most laptops are set up. The larger one is for the screen/digitizer.
