- Taking a refreshing walk through the woods in search of Birch polypore and horsehoof fungus.
birch polypore tea has been used for thousands of years as an antiseptic, anti parasitic tea or tincture as well as anti inflammatory and possible cancer and tumour healing.
Always do your own research before consuming anything prepared from wild plants or anybody else's experience
Beech, Ash and Chestnut Polypores collected this morning... Grated and drying in the afternoon Sun... South American Woodland Coffee tomorrow!
The horse hoof is also a medicine mushroom. Also I like to pick the Birch polypore when they are still soft cut them in thin strips then dry them.
Thank you Charles, I am just starting my mushroom journey so any extra tips are invaluable
