I have always been very interested in how the heart can produce increased cardiac output in septic shock, since the patient's blood pressure is below 65 by definition. And what do you think, is the perfusion of organs in septic shock really normal and the organs receive a normal level of O2, is it just that intraorganic blood flow is redistributed along the AV shunts?
