Fox's Field - August 2023

Transition Town Wellington’s new community forest garden is less than two years old. The group has used ‘no-dig gardening’ methods to suppress the grass: cardboard, woodchip and black plastic sheeting. The herb garden includes over 30 different types of plants. Edible and scented roses grow up the wooden pergola. The whole community has come together to create something magical here - which will flourish for decades to come.
