Lo-Fi Hi-Fi Action Packed! Dreamy foreground/background cinematography. On point brudda!! Plus u did it all with a giant backpack 🎒. WTH??? Flowing so sick like a Ninja 🥷 Turtle 🐢. Master Splinter is proud of you 👍🏾. Keep em coming… Mucho Aloha
Haha thanks! My Hydro Flask downshift pack isn’t too big and very padded! Just big enough to fit a small bladder, mini drone, mirrorless camera, small tripod, and action cams. Was a little heavy though… got lighter throughout the day! Haha
Love it. I’ve dreamt of doing the for all the little towns in Southern Indiana where I’m from that have not much going for them. I’ve always felt mountain biking could revitalize the area.👍😉
I’ve lived there 18 years and I’ve never seen the town in bird eye view. I can’t stop looking at this Before the switch backs where done I mastered the logging rds straight up. 3 bitches. How often you be riding and think your about to smack that tree but the spacing and curve of the trail all works out.
I really dig the vibe of that video! Keep them coming! Got a question for you. Are you mounting your camera on the top of your helmet when we see the higher angle at the beginning? I like how it shows the steepness of the trail. Trying to figure out a similar angle with my Insta360.
@@MarkMatthewsMTB Gotcha. Just got a Hero11 and having troubles with the chest mount shaking under rough conditions. Might just have to crank it down (so I've read).
Thanks! I love it. The short stays are perfect for my riding style. I recommend going one size up if you want a really nice blend of stability and playfulness
Ok have to ride there at least once in my life. Guys does anyone have a longterm van rental tip for me ? I wanna stay in the Vancouver area for one month next year ! Indiecamper wants like 10K for a month :D
Not sure if its an insta 360 or superview but I hate the look of the pov, so much lens distortion in the periphery. It had thay Weird , quasi fish eye quality... which is too bad, because the editing, riding and concept are rad as hell. If you're doing cinematic, it's gotta BE cinematic.
Thanks for the feedback! I’m sponsored by Insta360 now so I shoot exclusively with their cameras. I haven’t had much luck with footage when framing it in tighter but I’ll keep experimenting to get a more cinematic look for RUclips content
Thanks for this. Great vid

I enjoy them a lot ! Really like that you include the uphills and so on, shows the whole experience !
Can't wait to get out to and ride Cumberland! What a beautiful area with some epic riding! Great video, cheers Mark! YEEWWW!!!! :D \m/
Thanks!
Spent a month here whilst traveling and fell in love with the place and the people. A really special place
Love Cumby. So much variety in the trail network, literally something for every type of rider
100%! Such a good mix
You're lucky to have trails like that in your area. Beautiful scenery!
Super lucky. Love this spot
Cumberland is an awesome town! The campground on the lake is so killer
Love the vibe of this one! Different flavor of video.. Rad!

I think I passed you on the climb trail when you were filming some of this video. Nice work!!
Oh nice haha yea last week. Thanks!
Keep the videos rolling
Cheers

yeah me too, the climbing trail makes it easier!
Thank you for your video :)
My pleasure!
oh wow! nice 🤘
Great video!! What trails were you riding? Keep up the good work!
Thanks. Trails in order of shown: Trent canyon, blueprint, Chunder, 6pack
@@MarkMatthewsMTB thought I recognized Trent, the exposure looks scarier on the vid than I remember!
I get to ride there from time to time. Would love to know the hit list of trails you used for the video.

Yes under the visor for steeper terrain a chest mount for flatter/fast terrain
@@MarkMatthewsMTB how do you mount it?
so cool: nice place, nice people, great trails....what else do U need..?!
Exactly! Best vibes 🙌
What are the camera settings on the Blueprint section?
It’s the mount, not the settings here that makes this one a bit different. Insta360 x3 on chest mount
@@MarkMatthewsMTB Gotcha. Just got a Hero11 and having troubles with the chest mount shaking under rough conditions. Might just have to crank it down (so I've read).
congrats on 66.6k subs.
How do you find the short reach and short chainstays on this bike on rough chundery / fast trails?
Thanks! I love it. The short stays are perfect for my riding style. I recommend going one size up if you want a really nice blend of stability and playfulness
These are the trails that keep forbidden based there
Very nice vidéo as always! Can you ride all year long in that area?
Yes, some of the higher elevation trails will typically be snowed out for a couple months though
As Daft Punk once sung, you were "Doin' it Right".
I found a lithium ion battery at the top of Trent Canyon, did you lose one while filming?
No but thanks, crazy coincidence!
Dreamy, small town living is best

I company called Canadream does rv’s for cheaper they might have vans too
Or buy something and sell it before you leave haha
