During D.N.A. Robert talked about how he thought the reveal of his real face was disappointing, but when i watched it with my mom as a kid, I remember her going on about how attractive she thinks he is.
Meltdown has some really funny bits, but it probably gets such low ratings because the production values seem really poor compared other episodes. Most of the time it looks like a bunch of people in fancy dress running around in a field on home video. And some of the interiors aren't much better. They must have blown the limited BBC budget elsewhere.
2:01:04 “he’s the kind that likes to tie you up” yeah, but. He’d get down to it. Yvonne McGreuder would be lying down waiting for him and Rimmer would be gauging different types of rope, testing the tensile strength and pros and cons of a nylon weave or a more traditional rope. And then consulting his book on knots. Yvonne would get bored and wander off and Rimmer would come round a few days later and realise what’s happened.
I love how Meltdown quickly turns from commentary into a watch party.
i love them singing the ending, when they all do it at the end of justice. i just love them
This takes me back. Man, I loved Red Dwarf.
I love it
Robert: A very different ending, though, to that one.
Chris: Oh, it's finished!
1:26:24 “Well that was no accident, that was first-degree toastercide!” 😂
Rimmer doing the lobe walk is the funniest thing I've ever watched
Man, this takes me back. I loved Red Dwarf.

He has a face like an uncooked pie.

I don’t know how I’ve never thought of it before. But I’d love to have seen a buddy comedy with Ace Rimmer and Lord Flashheart
One of my fave series this one.
2:38:43😂
What do they mean by ham salad??
It's a joke about 'hammy' acting. Going overboard with the portrayal.
