Best for some individuals not for the lot. Law enforcement in general should be utilizing the most current information we have about neuropsychiatry to their advantage. People aren't built to work the front line of anything for extended periods of time without huge harm to themselves and others. you can be addicted to anything, Jena. It doesn't have to be hard drugs. People get addicted to cigarettes and they don't even give you a high like weed does. The same with food.
There's physical and mental addiction. Physical addiction is what people get from things like heroin and alcohol where withdrawal can require hospitalization because they physically need the substance. Mental addiction can happen with anything intoxicating or pleasurable. I agree, getting addicted to cannabis is a joke, it's escapism and cannabis just happens to be the drug of choice. A lot of those people would likely just drink or use another drug if they didn't smoke because they have problems in life they're avoiding through drug use. To me, being addicted to cannabis is like being addicted to food, doesn't mean cannabis is addictive, it means that the person addicted probably just has poor impulse control and an addictive personality.
They treated their under covers like garbage! In America they are very quietly celebrated because of the trash that gets cleaned up. This is sad because these operations can't be infiltrated without them and these jobs are more dangerous than any regular police work!

I smoke weed. Also 2 months off suboxone to kick a 8 year opiate habit. You may get addicted to weed but it’s more of a want addiction than a need addiction. If I don’t have pot I wish I had it to help me sleep and relax. But I don’t get sick, start scheming how to make money or rob to get more. I don’t risk death to take that pain away every time. There’s huge differences
My mum takes suboxone I take methadone she got hooked on tramadol pain opiate and I too the hell that these doctors put us thru ay
@@Gringo.the.Bratan exactly! Cannabis can be substituted for many addictive and dangerous pharmaceuticals
He gained access just by saying, are you hooked up with hells angels! Lol
Read this comment again and laughed again. Lol
Haha the most police like question to ask
Bc your normal everyday people have no idea what that means. Lmao. Those that do would never ask , stupid ass pigs!
😂
Here in the states a question like that would be sus AF!
That poor lady and her addiction to weed😢🤣
😂😂😂
I bet she didn't tell her poor dying dad it was just weed 🤣🤣🤣 Poor guy probably thought she was giving handys for Crack 🤣🤣🤣
One of my really good friends in high school went undercover and got himself hooked. He got out of Law Enforcement built his own security company and has retired to the mountains. God is Good! All the time! Amen!!!

‘Rush’ 1991, anyone?
I thought it was quite good & I’m highly discerning in what I watch.
Love & Light from Miami Shores🦚✌🏼
Stay safe mates🌎🙏🏼
I still have the soundtrack from that 🤣🤣
Haha Imagine RUSH if all the had a problem with was weed 🤣🤣🤣. Would have been like a Ceech and Chong movie lol
I love how they show smoking meth in the intro to just end up being weed. I live in Massachusetts, USA where it’s legal. It’s a non issue. The issue is the war on drugs have done nothing to stop the 1500 opiate deaths we have in just Massachusetts each year
Weed is the best medicine in town😋
That wouldn't be any fun busting people who "are" criminals but when you're undercover they've become friends. What a mind game and the higher-ups leave them as the Armed Forces do so often when they're broken through doing what was their job that they were sent to do. So many sad stories that this "War on Drugs" has made.
Damn, musta been fire to think you were actually pissing your own pants,😂
The weeds along my drive way are more of a worry , hilarious show
Down under is Australia, this is New Zealand.
From Canada. What is the difference between Austrailia and New Zealand?
@@darlenemichuk8553 Australia is a bloody great continent about 75% the size of the USA. NZ is made up of two small islands about 2,000 kliks east of Aus. It's about the size of California.
Well ,here in Canada there's two weed stores, a beer store and a liquor store all in one mini mall just in my neighborhood.
🇨🇦☑️
There are 2 guys that sell crack, heroin, meth in my apartment complex and it isnt projects or low income housing
I have to drive past 2 weed stores to get to the good one. Medically legal here
@@myownidenity4955 we had a dealer like that almost literally outside our door for a year. I called him "skeezy" because for the love of god I didn't want to know his name. Extremely paranoid fella, considering he was constantly shouting about drug crimes.
Nice guy though!
Emm MI..whats your point?
These officers experienced “ptsd” or “shell shock” from employment. What about for all those who have it as normal life? No one wakes up and declares I’m going to be an addict and destroy my life. It’s a symptom of something going on inside. It’s a spiritual battle as well.
Oh my word you've led a very sheltered life haven't you? Talking about a bit cannabis like it's some hardcore, addictive, life threatening substance. I'm actually recovering from a 13 year long addiction to opioids, you know..genuinley physically addictive drugs. So I'm very aware of what living a life marred by addiction feels like, and to be honest hearing someone claim they're addicted to a non-addictive substance bothers me quite a bit. It's almost like someone who has had an awful trauma like being raped hearing another woman making a false claim for attention. It really touches a nerve to say the least. On another note...are you British by any chance?
Imagine going undercover to infiltrate weed smokers...
It's called going to work
@@theother6505 that's work? It's a complete waste of time and resources
I've never seen somebody offering sexual favors for five bucks to buy a joint 😂😂
They realize it’s 2021 right, weed panic is done for
This is definitely clickbait. I expected to she cops shooting dope, tricking off for rocks etc 🤣 But Reefer?! Get the hell out of here.
[7:54] "The USED group stands for Undercovers Seriously [Effected by] Drugs." Huh? "Effected by" makes absolutely no sense and "Affected by" results in "USAD." So what gives, lady?
I thought that too. How dd they not catch that mistake when naming the group and promoting it to a television station? Lol
From nz I remember watching this years ago on tv
Is this comedy TV ?
The 2o seconds after 38:28 sound like a script dictated by the police bureaucracy - if so, well done by the voice over for making it ever so slightly tongue in cheek
Is she saying she is addicted to weed? Oh lord lady.......
ADDICTED to devil's lettuce?! 😂 Oh, come on... I was expecting heroin or meth, this is just dumb
The symptoms of PTSD can be mitigated. ACT, Exposure for some, CBT. All Trauma-Informed.
Dude told his wife he has to cheat on her to catch some weed smokers lmao
What an exciting life wish I had chosen that route I'd be great at it

wtf is wet?
That wet wet.
@samantha PCP
I'll assume by your question u ve never watched "Training Day" _@@s.Klebold
Prohibitionists are the worst kind of hypocrites.
When that woman said she was just smoking weed, I had to laugh out loud. She really believes that's a problem. The PTSD, is another story. That's horrible and I don't wish that on anyone.
Weed, REALLY? I'm sorry I have to agree with the officer, I think the statement was "they were weak".
Harder drugs I can believe and understand but weed HELL NO!
You aren't "shell shocked" because you smoked weed while undercover.
Love how mad the wives were about weed... 😂 Geez
Why, coz they actually cared about the hypocrisies made let alone the fact that they didn't want their kids around that scene?
If they wanted that recklessness, they'd of made sure they were with, and had their children fathered by drug fk'd crims, not drug fk'd cops!
@@rabbits.plinketty-plink.1276 its marijuana dude, stfu

The Gov should be EMBARRASSED. HOW DISGRACEFUL
lol I can't believe people are so touchy about weed.

TURNED UNDERCOVER CHRONIC
The undercover addict is quite a storyteller
These Under Cover Cops go into everything that goes against thier priority's and ethics. This must be an extremely life changing event. These people are strong,, but. They can only take so much. I am so glad changes have been made and I hope more come. They are heroes and should be treated that way;
In the US, they have been doing the same bull shit for 50+ years... But still expect to get different results ????? waste of resources...
Keeps the Prisons full and the prison industrial complex happy though. Fun Fact..the folks who are profitting off the private prison system here in the US have lobbyist who's jobs are specifically to go out and lobby for new drug laws as well as trying to keep old ones on the books.
They were smoking the first version of SPICE.

I'm sensing sarcasm
@@jasonprice5307 You got that right. Why she would increase her father’s torment, particularly when they were so close is beyond me.
This is so depressing. And, how do motorcycle gangs get so powerful in such a small country?? That doesn’t make sense to me.
Was stoned from 1979 until February 2020, I just decided to to stop, no problems no comedown, no other symptoms of withdrawal, I didn't even notice anything except the size of the bulge of my wallet. So this must be b.s. I did watch most of the programmes they put on youtube concerning the bent coppers the Ozzies had. So I guess not a lot will surprise me in this (I'm about to watch this, after reading the comments below... Oh and I'm a biker, Only bike club I joined was the Tufty Club which I joined when I was 5, they teach you road craft on pushbikes.
OK Watched a lot, Now Weed in New Zealand grows everywhere, since the coppers found a big farm on the South Island, being clever, they put all the plants into a net and I mean a big net, Ties it to the bottom of an helocopter and flies it all the way to the North Island, the blades blew the seed everywhere! I do have some friends in NZ.
Police intelegance, a Oxymoron. if they had any intelegance, they would be solicitors, same the world over that. Sorry about the typos but I refuse to use Grammerly after hearing and seeing their annoying adverts too many times.
Well, see 3 did have the intel, he left the police and became a solicitor. Better pay and less danger.
Sooooo WEED? Not CRACK? Not HEROIN? 😂😂😂
Much better drugs in the 90s than now
This is ridiculous
wow his wife really loves him
Oh no. I really need my weed right now too. Lol
Im sorry but you're not an addict if you smoke weed.
If you are dependent on something its actually an addition isn't it ??
you can be addicted to anything, Jena.
I'm sure they couldn't say anything harder. I'm sure it was meth etc. Weed doesnt have symptoms to where u have to use it, does it?
It's almost like some one within the police force wanted Andy to be seen by those on parole.
Is it just me or is it weird that she needed to tell her dying father that she unintentionally became an addict
TO WEED!!! 😂
Wow I’m happy i read the comments before wasting my time with this
Pleased to know a cop has seen what is done to the public by police. He saw it 1st hand.
man those foil packs of dirt weed killed my throat just from seeing thm. From barcelona ! peace
They treated their under covers like garbage! In America they are very quietly celebrated because of the trash that gets cleaned up. This is sad because these operations can't be infiltrated without them and these jobs are more dangerous than any regular police work!
Very interesting eye-opening story. I hope these brave people recover from PTSS and live peacefully. They have made an immesurable contribution .
It's just pot lol there fine
This is absolutely absurd. I can't watch. The old woman telling her dad shes an addict as hes dying, while she smokin weed! She shoulda gone home and shot dope to make up for that bs
Don't get high on you're own supplies, is that what they say???
She seems to be wallowing in her situation.
How the hell do you get addicted to weed!
EDIT. It's pretty difficult to get addicted to anything unless you put the work in.
