Saw this movie last night. My dad and I make holsters, and we did the gun and belt rigs for pretty much all the main characters so it was really cool to see our stuff on the big screen
That's sick man.
dang super cool!
Alex Andrews that's awesometacular
see if Jeremy read his comments, he wouldnt miss out interesting facts like this! Good on ya, man!
Alex Andrews that’s awesome! I just watched this film. Absolutely gorgeous.
(Sorry I’m late to the party lol)
Do you have a website?
Favorite western: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

7 samurai was based off of a well known anime called 'Cory in the House'
Which we all know was based on the greatest anime of all time, King of the Hill.
+SgtR3ynolds Ugh, you actually like the King of the Hill anime? Everyone knows the manga is superior
55urmom The manga left out some of the best arcs and didn't have arguably one of the best characters in fiction.
@Geralt of Trivia I only watch the sub.
One of the best animes of all time. What a monkey reference
There was part of a Justice League Unlimited episode with a similar plot, where Batman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern travel back in time and team up with Jonah Hex.
YES! Was looking for someone to say that!
Good episode, but fuck that time traveler guy (can't remember his name) was annoying as shit!
I'm not sad for that guy having to relive the moment his wife basically kicks him out for all eternity.
+DisneyLover258 him and the wife were terrible!
Yep. The Once and Future Thing.
When there's six they're ridiculous...
now it's left to three....oh shit spoiler!!
they're sinister
😂😂😂😂😂
When they're 8 they're hateful
And when there's five, they're fast... and fantastic when there's four
SO FAR SO GOOD!
The thing about this movie that really blew me away was how downright old fashioned it felt, this feels like a 1970’s western movie with modern day effects which I loved, this is a movie that knew what it was and played it up to its fullest and I had a total blast with it
Hell or High Water was pretty awesome neo-western. When it comes out on Blu-ray, I'll have a steak and scotch when I watch it.
agreed, jeremy needs to review it.
Spencer Nielsen very good movie
Favorite western by far is Tombstone so far. Can't wait to see Magnificent seven
The westerns that I've seen:
The Best: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
The Worst: A Million Ways to Die in The West
You never watched Tombstone?
oh god, that movie was awful lol
Bone Tomahawk was good too
Have you seen django unchained.
3:10 to Yuma is damn good too
Fantastic 4
Furious 5
Ridiculous 6
Magnificent 7
Hateful 8
And the best of them all, Nine Lives.
I've seen about 3 people post this. Be original
***** Originality? On RUclips?! HAHAHAHAHAH
Triple Nine
Nine lives doesn't count because the number comes after the word and the word isn't an adjective
Connor McSaviour
I'm just saying it's different from the others
Actually that plot originates in Kurosawa's Seven Samurai. The original The Magnificent Seven was made as Seven Samurai in the Old West.
have you seen 13 assassins?
Just goes to show that some tales are timeless and deserve to be retold for future generations
you are aware that this story originated with Seven Samurai?
yeah kinda disappointed he didn't mention that. knowledge everyone who likes movies should know.
Gerald But it is the original that started all such as Sergio Leone westerns and practically every western movie in one way or another after that.
and Akira Kurosawa is perhaps one of the most important movie directors in history so i dont see why to omit that.
Well, yeah but from the review it looks like he legit thought this was a 100% new movie not a remake.
Everyone is aware of that.
7 samurai started spagehitti westerns, bloody revenge stories shot in europe by directors watching classic era japan films, westerns were around for decades, and before the spaghettis there were the classical westerns and the big westerns after that, the hateful 8 being based on the big westerns not as much as the spaghetti.
I am kinda proud that my first experience with the whole "7 bad-asses save a small town from bandits" was watching the old black and white 7 samurai. I can't wait to see this film.
Rogue One
Tea for Two
Table for Three
Fantastic Four
Fast Five
Ridiculous six
Magnificent seven
Hateful Eight
District Nine

I fucking LOVED this movie. But...and this is kind of a spoiler...holy shit. It made me realize just how safe most movies are in terms of how to handle their main cast. FUCK, that was a body count.
Well if you've seen the original then you know most of them die. Only three made it out in the original; halfway through the movie I started playing a game called "who's gonna die" cause I knew most of them were. *SUPER SPOILER* I'm glad they killed Chris Pratt though; I knew Denzel was gonna make it but I was concerned they were going to be too typically "Hollywood" to be willing to kill off such a big name.

JazzyNym That's the thing. My dad watches Westerns and I had watched Seven Samurai. I also watched a version of Magnificent 7 where everyone got out alive, so I got confused. I knew at least ONE dude in the main cast is gonna bite it (the amount I see most movies allow) but by the time the third head rolled I got a bit of movie shock. Three dudes lived, two of them didn't even get fleshed out back stories! That REALLY confused me.
Mitsuki Horenake Yeah, although oddly that might be *why* they didn't die? For example, I knew Ethan Hawke's character would die because he was just so tortured with himself and his past that death (especially in this situation) would be a good thing for him. I see this a lot in films, where they sort of try to justify a character's death with a tortured life. Chris Pratt I felt could go either way, cause his life wasn't that great and didn't look like it was really going anywhere. Same for Vincent Donofrio (tracker guy); he clearly wasn't having the best life. I was really sad that Billy had to die though... I loved Lee's character! And I honestly didn't get a sense of their friendship being *so* deep that they needed to go out together. As for Vasquez and Red Harvest, perhaps they didn't think their deaths would elicit an emotional response so decided they would keep them in as the two others that survived? Although I liked that Red Harvest didn't die, cause A - I liked his character and *wanted* to know more about him, so it's a weird sort of solace to know that his story isn't over, and B - I sorta feel like just the way he was fighting (by being more in the shadows) doesn't lend itself to an easy death so it's more justified why he didn't die. That's just my opinion; sorry about the excessive comment XD
JazzyNym No, it makes sense. Red Harvest was actually doing espionage work, making him hard to hit. Duh. I assumed either Ethan or Vincent were gonna bite it, but Lee and Pratt going never crossed my mind once. Especially since Pratt was second billed next to Denzel.
Besides, in movies with big casts, it's usually the guys with back stories that live in the end. So the whole survivor list is even weirder to me. A good weird, but still weird.
How I know I don't watch a lot of westerns? The example I thought of for the cliche western story was A Bug's Life.
That was based on the magnificent seven/seven samurai too
Huh
I actually never noticed that till now
Stephen Marco
I know. Still amusing, though.
Oh how I love A Bug's Life, it's such a great movie. Still can't believe I never realized that Kevin Spacey voiced Hopper...that just never occurred to me.
***** wow
I didn't know that either xd
it's important to remember and watch Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai. I think it's the firts one to tell this story but aside from that, it's a masterpiece that influenced all the westerns that came after it.
It is indeed the first, and one of the most influential films of all time.
How could it influence westerns that came before it? Did Kurosawa travel back in time to show his movie to Ford, Hawks and Sturges?
Mattchester Hahahaha. I mean after
But...who cares?
TheNerdFormer People who like movies...
An episode of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" had this plot.
"Bounty Hunters"
"Bounty Hunters" was a deliberate tribute to Akira Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai" and it's American counterpart (which was made with his permission and approval) the original Magnificent Seven. This one was a remake of that classic film, which had Steve McQueen, Yul Brynner, Charles Bronson, James Coburn, and other famous and soon-to-be-famous actors in the lead roles.
George Lucas is actually a huge Akira Kurosawa fan, and had his films in mind greatly when he made the original Star Wars, some of the original drafts with General Skywalker and lightsabers being carried by all stormtroopers become even closer to samurais in space than we have already. The Force part meanwhile is one part Wuxia (another inspiration) with mixes of Tao and Shinto religion... and nary a midi-something to be heard of until he unfortunately went prematurely senile.
I 'member that.
Back to the future 3 is counted as western?
Yes, definitely
Donkey kong 456 yes
well you know, Magnificent 7 ripped its plot from The Seven Samurai, which was basically the same thing, but... you know, with Samurai.
So that's neat.
And the Seven Samurai ripped off Old Western movies. What a small world we live in.
What? How old were those Westerns, Seven Samurai was made in 1954. It's just that Sergio Leone was a big fan of Seven Samurais and paid homage with his movie.
what Westerns did Seven Samurai rip off?
Let me clear up what I was trying to say. I meant that Seven Samurai ripped off the Western genre in general. And then everyone started ripping off Seven Samurai.
But Denzel Washington would never be a Samurai. LOL
Alright everyone, we get it; the "original" was Seven Samurai, but this is focusing on the fact that Magnificent Seven is a direct (same genre and everything) remake of the 1960's film OF THE SAME NAME. So no, he doesn't have to mention it. God, it's like being in film studies again where everyone loved to yell about how much they knew. We get it. Calm down.
Exactly they're idiots they need to nitpick so much
Well, they're both remakes of Seven Samurai by Kurosawa sooo...
Ivo Sotirov and? Have you seen it? Has the vast majority of American audiences seen it? No. Then there's no point in bringing it up, unless it helps discuss this film. It doesn't.
Or there's always the kids in the Film Studies class that keep asking the prof "have you seen...?" Makes me want to drop the class.
Honestly, most of the problem only know that because of Stuckmans review. The only reason *I* know is because of Stuckmans review.
Jeremy you did a "MAGNIFICENT" job doing this review.
I love it when Jeremy subversively persuade you to go watch Firefly. Again.
I can't wait to see it
same
WeabeMusic and it was awesometacular
I actually want the main plot of the Obi Wan movie be some spin on a Western cliché storyline
ROGUE ONE - War Film (Saving Private Ryan)
HAN SOLO - Fun Adventure Movie (Raiders of the Lost Ark)
BEN KENOBI - lone Gunman type Western
BOUNTY HUNTER TALES - pure Mafia gold
and if there ever will be a political thriller, a spy movie or a love story set in this Universe, I'd be all for that too
Not a love story. The love stories in the prequels sucked
@They see Me rollin
Well yeah, but that's not because love stories in general are flawed. The writing was just really bad ;)
But imagine a Romeo&Juliet type story, where he's with the Empire and she's with the Rebels...
So Darth Maul finds Obi-Wan on Tatooine and takes over the town, so Obi-Wan and Owen Lars take it back like John Wayne and James Caan in El Dorado.
The plot of Rogue One is basically a large scale sci-fi version of Magnificent Seven/Seven Samurai. A group of rebels band together to save the galaxy from getting blown up by Imperial assholes.
Fantastic 4
Furious 5
Ridiculous 6
Magnificent 7
Hateful 8
Why is this "adjective/number" naming scheme such an oddly specific thing?
Ocean's 11
and "9"
Nine Lives
It's Fast 5
Now you made me re-watch Firefly, again. Thank you!
Least favourite: Cowboys and Aliens
Most favourite: Red Dead Redemption
I actually liked cowboys and aliens until it became an alien movie. They shouldve kept that a western.
Least favourite: A million ways to die in the west
Most favourite: Every Sergio Leone western ever
I think Cowboys & Aliens is really underrated, I actually liked that one
Tombstone....the best
The Lone Ranger
Two Guns
The Three Musketeers
Fantastic Four
Fast Five
The Ridiculous Six
The Magnificent Seven
The Hateful Eight
Nine Lives... Lol
'member training day? Yesss I 'member.
***** ooooh yes i member
Member when the title was on the top?

Is that a South Park reference? I missed last nights episode so I'm missing context.
+Tate Hildyard no and watch it already
Fun fact, although many people are quick to point out that Akira Kurosawa's 7 Samurai inspired the Magnificent Seven, turns out that Akira Kurosawa himself was a big fan of western cinema and storytelling in general. In fact, he used many Old Hollywood cinematography in his films, and was influenced himself by Western directors like Howard Hawks and John Ford, kinda bringing everything full circle.
Is not even a Western story, is based on the Seven Samurai.
everyone knows 😒
Being based on a samurai film doesn't disqualify it from being a western: it just has a similar plot. The samurai are comparable to confederates after the Civil War. Both were disgraced soldiers at a point in history. 'Firefly' touches on this parallel. "I say we shall rise again!" Malcolm Reynolds says that in, I believe, the second episode.
Which is based off old western movies itself.
Nobody even gives a shit, we are trying to enjoy a movie that came out.
If by "touches on this parallel" you mean he uses it as a joke before Serenity rises into view behind him... and yes that episode was "The Train Job."
Kurosaw himself admitted, that he was influenced by american western-movies.Another example: Before "A Fistful of Dollars" there was (of course) "Yojimbo". But before that, Dashiell Hammett wrote "Red Harvest", which COULD have had an influence on Kurosawa.
Totally agree with this review! The movie's plot is one we've seen time and time again. Yet this movie found a way to still make the story fun to watch, with some great acting, great action sequences, nice dialogue, humor, and depth.
3 Amigos, The Fantastic 4, Fast 5, Bionic 6, Magnificent 7, Hateful 8, 9 Lives & .......

Hell or High Water is great modern western. Please check it out. It probably the best movie you'll this year.
Yea it was awesome
My favorite Western is The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly. Least would probably be Unforgiven.
! Unforgiven is Eastwood's best film.
Unforgiven is one of the best movies ever made. Da fuq kind of drugs are you on?
unforgiven was a great movie man
playgroundchooser favorite western The Outlaw Josey Wales. least favorite western The Angel & The Badman.
Tombstone is my favorite
Loved, loved, loved it and never saw the original all the way through! Don’t know how, but Denzel just crushes it in almost everything he’s in! He’s one of my favorite actors of all time! But, Clint Eastwood is not only my favorite western actor, but favorite actor of all time. Might be because my dad looks just like him and is also my hero!
Saw it today and would recommend the movie to others who like a good action movie with a touch of comedy.
Haha I like that you mix up hateful 8 and and magnificent 7 at the end and just chuckle to yourself and leave it in the final cut. Most channels woulda just cut it out and that's what I love about your channel, you're not afraid to do that kinda thing. Keep up the awesome work 👍
Are we going to have a movie called The Mediocre Five next?
Fast Five was pretty mediocre
To be fair, The Magnificent Seven was one of the first to follow the "Adjective Number" formula- the original Mag 7, that is. And it was a westernization- with permission and approval of Akira Kurosawa- of "Seven Samurai." I think they added the adjective because "Seven Cowboys" just wouldn't sound as cool as "The Magnificent Seven."
The stinko cinco
fast five
The Sexy Six
Favorite western( and movie of all time) is The Good the bad and the ugly. But I also love Once Upon A Time In The West, The Searchers, Unforgiven, The Wild Buch, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid, Tombstone, Django Unchained, True Grit ( both versions), Rio Bravo, The Hateful Eight, etc.
When there are 7, they're Magnificent
When there are Eight, they're H8ful
when there are 6, they're just Ridiculous
Love, LOVE, love that you referenced the Firefly episode Heart of Gold in your review.
Idk if it counts but my favorite western would have to be No Country for Old Men
My top 5 Westerns
1. The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
2. Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid
3. 3:10 to Yuma (2007)
4. Unforgiven
5. The Wild Bunch
I love this movie!
My top 3 westers are Tombstone Good Bad and the Ugly, and the original Magnificent Seven with Yul Brynner and Steve McQueen.
Down vote for failing to mention Akira Kurosawa or Seven Samurais!
Funnily enough, I do have this movie on Blu-ray. I haven't watched it yet, but I know I should. I should also watch Django Unchained, Tombstone, Firefly, True Grit, and all of Firefly
The Ridiculous Six
The Magnificent Seven
The Hatefull Eight
whats next?? The Glorious 9???
the tenacious 10
The cynical 10
the heavenly 11
District 9
Fantastic four
Antoine Fuqua, I have seen all of his films (minus the documentaries) since his first, "Replacement Killers." He is an excellent action film director. Thank you for mentioning "King Author (director's cut)." I really enjoyed watching this review.
Great video, Jeremy.
You're Awesometacular.
Also, my favorite Western is True Grit (2010)
Least favorite is Jonah Hex.
I love True Grit!!!
denziel should have conversed more one on one with the characters. he did good but I felt he was distant from the others except for when he had a heart to heart with Ethan hawke. for some strange reason it felt like he was talking to him like he did in training day. u could see the fire in their eyes as they spoke. they were back in that era. it was kind of an unspoken bond and probably got overlooked by most people.
The Mexican dude; aka Danny Trejo?
Where do you buy blu ray movies? I used to buy them at Hastings, unfortunately they went bankrupt. Comment below let me know?
Django unchained is my favourite.
"kill white folk and get paid for it?" Laughed so hard at that.
Favorite western? "Crossfire Trail", with Tom Selleck (he does great westerns).
Least favorite western? "Last Stand at Saber River", which also stars Tom Selleck...but the pacing is really tough to cope with.
Anyone else think we need a movie based off of Red Dead Redemption?
Dang, I remember when Jeremy had 100,000 subscribers and thinking "this dude deserves more views" Now here we are, 1 million subs later. Great video as always, Jeremy. Keep up the good work!
Best western ever would be the Dollars trilogy, Clint Eastwood and Vincent were magnificent
Good thing he's not reviewing The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The comments would be filled w/ confusion about Yojimbo, Sanjuro, A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, Last Man Standing, Tsubaki Sanjuro, etc...
The Three Amigos is the shit.
This movie was so much fun! One of my favorites of the year! Chris Pratt was amazing!
Fantastic Four, Furious Five, Ridiculous 6, Magnificent 7, The Hateful 8 any one got anymore they can list?
Oceans 11

Favorite Westerns In Order And Do They Feature This Plot:
Silverado - Yes
McClintock - No
Blazing Saddles - Yes
Chisum - Yes
High Plains Drifter - Yes
Unforgiven - Yes
When did Jeremy start a Flock of Seagulls cover band?
Looking forward to this movie. Other classic Westerns I like are: Tombstone (As you mentioned); Back to the Future 3; Silverado; Blazing Saddles; Pale Rider; and Rustler's Rhapsody.
The west in space? Cowboy bebop?
child, please. CB was noir.
It's usually classified as both neo-noir and space western. Kinda depends on the episode I guess. I don't know, not my area of expertise.
Trigun would be a better fit for space western
Saw it and loved it. Chris Pratt was amazing. Also there's the Ridiculous 6, Magnificent 7 and Hateful 8 and they're all western themed!!
Please tell me somebody else saw that white orb fly past Jeremy's Shoulder at 0:20?
Think of it as, Christmas coming and let's not talk about this ever again😯
Agreed.
GHOST
Quigley Down Under is my all time fave. Looking forward to seeing this one! Thanks for the review
Just found out Jeremy is 36 years old. Thirty friggin six. What
What, thought he was 27
He does not look close to 40 at all
How old is Chris he seems similar age
The Big Country is my favourite western, closely followed by Tombstone and Original Magnificent 7! My least favourite is... i'm not too sure but maybe High plains Drifter starring Clint Eastwood. The new Magnificent 7 I loved so much and agree with everything you said in the review. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it and can't wait for the release on Blu Ray.
So this movie is a remake of the 2007 remake of the 1960 magnificent 7
Can't wait until the 2019 remake!
by 2040, we'll have seven Magnificent Seven movies and then those seven movies will be called The Magnificent Seven
Few Thinks I would Change... Add a Notable Big Name Main Bad Guy, Make the Mexican Guy that Survives in the End a Notable Mexican Actor, And Sorry you didn't get Jennifer Lawrence to play in the Movie but Replace her Stunt Double with a Different Character maybe a Blonde or Redhead of Name Value.
Movie was great and it showed just how shitty Suicide Squad was. "The Mexican Dude" had better character development than anyone in Suicide Squad.
Why the fuck are you comparing this to Suicide Squad? Get the fuck out of here you superhero fantard.
Carlton Banks Wow looks like I struck a nerve. If you are so simpleminded as to not understand my comment then I cannot help you.
True Grit (2010) is my favorite, I don't really have a least favorite.
Great video Jeremy!
you have a lot of hair man
Ummm wtf?
Other Joe...?
Hey Jeremy, is it better or worse then the original version with Steve McQueen? One of my favourite movies ever.
Cowboys and aliens were good.
Was
Lol
Enjoyed the heck out of this flick. I didn't mind that some characters didn't really have deep character development because it fit more with the pulp feel of the film. But they all had great banter and were all really entertaining, especially Vincent Donofrio. Some of my fave westerns are The Wild Bunch which this movie definitely took some inspiration from, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, The Assassination of Jesse James, the remake of 3:10 to Yuma and Tombstone. If I had to pick a least favorite western, I might have to say The Quick and the Dead
When they're Six, they're Sinister.
When they're Five, they're Furious.
When they're Four, they're Fantastic.
When they're Three, they're Warriors.
When they’re Eight, they’re Hateful
I got so excited when I got the notification that Jeremy uploaded, Stranger Things I thought? I was wrong
This is another example of critics sh#tting on a great movie just because it's not something completely original. F#cking critics just see a movie and if it has anything they've seen before, they just completely write it off. Same thing happened to Age of Ultron, Amazing Spider-Man, and Suicide Squad. Critics didn't even give those movies a chance. Same thing would've happened to The Force Awakens if it hadn't been Star Wars.
Age of Ultron was one a fine line between good and awful and SS sucks ass its not even really a movie just a bunch of backstories and fighting with a bipolar soundtrack. And TASM 2 was a trainwreck with TASM being a bland opening. Force awaken had its problems and could be considered rather lazy but it had some entertainment value. SS only has entertainment value for people who never judge a comic book movie for their numerous flaws
It's got nothing to do with being original. Those films had bad editing, bad dialouge, misrepresented trailers with footage never in the actual movie, and severe overacting by mostly apathetic lead actors. The plots completely fell apart halfway through. Those movies were critiqued fairly by the same movie making merits we have learned through a century of moviemaking 101, and they failed rightly so. It's got nothing to do with bias, and when you have an amalgamation of hundreds of critics giving virtually the same consensus, then something has to be wrong with the movie. There is nothing wrong with liking these films, and why should you care what the critics think when the fan boys of these comic series always ensure their creation by throwing money at them instantly?
The job for Force Awakens was to get the new generation involved and fix the repercussions set by the prequels. Now that it has done that job, it can carry on to more adult and developed themes.
+Christian James Michelsen force awakens failed at that for me. Grew up with the prequels and love them but I strongly disliked the force awakens odd how that works
Darwin Walker
It's because you grew up with it, so there is nostalgia. Though, to be frank, even as a kid, I thought those films were sub-standard.
Completely agree. I just saw it and walked away entertained. Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt were excellent. Pratt even reminded me a little of Clint Eastwood's posture in his old western movies. I'm buying it on BluRay. Heck. I might even go watch it again with a friend.
anyone else watched the samurai 7 anime?
C'mon, hipster weebs unite!
I've seen seven samurai but not samurai seven
Yo Soy Bob Oso Samurai 7's an old anime that no one watched. It's got mechs n cyborgs n scifi n shit, and really deserves more attention :)
Yo Soy Bob Oso same story tho. it's just another adaption of the original.
3:10 to Yuma is one of the better modern westerns I've seen, but The Sacketts is my favorite.
Young Guns, Unforgiven, and Silverado.
The movie was boring with forced chemistry. It was lifeless and brought nothing original, which is sad because these are great actors.
actually the Mexican character had a deleted scene where he gave the dad speech from Charles Bronsan in the Brynner/McQueen/Bronsan/Wallach version.
The Hateful 1 - "Rise of the Trump" is coming soon too!
get ready to say hello Mr. President.
*****
Hah, perhaps together (watch my video).
But to see Hillary as only a villain and somebody who's a pathological liar and misquotes and abuses stats to demonize whole groups of people like SJW's do with men, is double-think and hypocrisy of the highest order.
But then again, that's in short what summarizes most Trump lemmings XD
Lol. Nice. Checkout the Hilary between two ferns video. Good for a chuckle. IDK how it all turns out. I just hope for the best. I live in the Middle East and hope it turns out for the best for all of us.
Personally the 1960 version is one of my favorite if not my absolute favorite western of all time!
Favorite westerns.. Lonesome Dove, Tombstone, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Rio Bravo
you forgot to say if the movie is good or bad. is it watchable?
What's the best online streaming site? ie actual 1080p streams and properly compressed audio...
123 movies is the best I can find so far
I have a bunch of Clint Eastwood westerns, A Fist Full Of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, Hang'em High as well as High Planes Drifter, The Outlaw Josey Wales and Pale Rider, they are all great
Denzel and Pratt stand out? Nah,they´re just on autopilot. Dónofrios Jack Horn was the greatest and more than just canon fodder....
I saw the older version in anticipation for this one coming out and it was the shit, Yul Brynner's charisma in that movie was off the charts too ! I didn't say the original, since apparently this is all based on a Japanese movie, the 7 Samurai. Looking forward to that newer version as well, because Antoine Fuqua, Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Vincen D'Onofrio and Ethan Hawke.
Also, favorite western : The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
