congratulations Blue Jays! they've had an amazing season and have a lot of players who could potentially lead their team far into the postseason not just this year but especially in future years if they keep building off of what they already have and keep going strong. looking forward to seeing them in the ALDS as an Astros fan... definitely would be a very good and competitive series
@@Killerqueen2000 I never said either team has a chance, I just think it'll be competitive. The Astros are probably going to win but either team only needs to win 3 games to get to the ALCS...
@@Killerqueen2000 Lucas is a competent Astros fan. You sir are clueless. As much as I'm a homer (go Jays go) I'm not naive to the fact first the Jays need to get home field, then beat Tampa, then Beat NYY before we can even talk about facing Houston (not to mention Houston cant overlook CLV or a hungry Seattle squad) I hope I get to see Jays vs Astros. You want to be the best you got to beat the best. I look forward to the Challenge Respect to Astros fans. You've been through alot, you deserve a clean win..... But not against my Jays
@@shaneturner1809 If Blue Jays finish 4th, then the road to the ALCS is through the winner of NYY vs Cleveland/Seattle/Tampa. So it's not wrong that if Blue Jays manage to win their Wildcard series, then Houston is (likely) next on deck.
Seattle is a very similar team to the Jays. It will be a tight series! I feel the Jays pitching is deeper, so hopefully that helps and the bats stay awake.
First, the Blue Jays have the best two commentators in baseball right now in Dan Shulman and Buck Martinez. Second, this team is really good, and the players are still maturing and learning and improving(?). Third, Jordan Romano. 'Nuff said. Lastly, though I love Alejandro Kirk and Gabby Moreno, an injury-free season from Danny Jansen would be awesome, as I think he's one of the best overall starting catchers in MLB (check his OPS and fWAR). Lastly, Sportsnet showed this great graphic tonight of some recent Ace pitchers' ERA+ through their first 50 starts. Here's the list: 5. Max Scherzer 104 4. Clayton Kershaw 113 3. Justin Verlander 126 2. Jacob DeGrom 134 1. Alek Manoah 155 Man Mountain Manoah is going to be a superstar and a very wealthy man, one day. He's something special, folks. Go Jays, Go! Get that home-field advantage!!!
Yammie the Mets TV Broadcast team of Gary Cohen, Ron Darling(also the lead Turner/TBS analyst) and Keith Hernandez are also right up there among the best MLB Commentators as well.
Yepp ours are really cool but the Mets top them (still) They are a great combo and sometimes forget that millions are listening. That's why there are tons of YT vids of them. There should be rankings and prizes for it. They would always be there.
Jansen becomes a big. 2 HR in his first game. Right in the playoffs. That's a career start. Springer/Kirk have been really important. Kirk just did a balancing act alongside :-)
@@yammie75 As a Yankee fan, I wish we had either the Schulman/Martinez or the Cohen/Darling/Hernandez crew. Micheal Kay is not terrible as a lead TV Commentator. However Kay is better suited as a Studio Host/Sport Radio Talk. Kay by the way hosts a popular Weekday Afternoon Sports Talk Show in NYC 2-7pm (often doing the first 2 hours during the season before leaving to do the Yankees games on YES) You would think the legendary NY Yankees would get a top notch broadcasting crew. Ps I don’t hate John Sterling the long time lead radio voice. However he should br in his 80s age wise really should only be a couple of innings a game. Sterling and the Yankees need to groom a younger heir apparent radio announcer similar to how Vin Scully in last few years of his career, himself only broadcast home games.
What a sorry excuse for a team. Start of the year the pundits had them making it to the WS. By the end of the season they didnt even win the Division. Yet they're partying as if they won the Division, the Pennant and the WS. Cute. The other day Vladdy is yelling, "This is MY house." The next day the Yanks come in, win the Division and Judge hits number 61 and by looking at the Yanks at the end of the game one wouldnt even have known it. They had a small celebration in the dressing room and AFTERWARDS Judge and the others still took to the mics during Q&A and spoke like true (sober) professionals. There is a reason the Jays have not won a WS in 30 years. Plus what kind of Upper Management fires their Manager (Montoya) literally 2 days after he returns from his 1st base coach's daughters funeral? Wow. And when Budzinski (the 1st base coach) returned to the team at the Roger's Centre after spending time off for bereavement there was not a single P.A announcement at the stadium announcing his return. Shame, really. Top to bottom, for too many reasons to mention, this team has no winning future.

congratulations on the win today awesome people!
It’s funny how Vladdy is having not as good of a season as 2021. But he is going to the postseason this season
Tanner Roark pissed all over those chances last year by losing so many games for them otherwise they would have

That would be the first time in franchise history for both teams to face against each other in the playoffs both teams came in the league in 1977
