Thank you all for your interest in the ink destash. The set have now been claimed and off to their new home. Stay tuned for possible more destashing offerings in upcoming videos❤
I'm obsessed with Twsbi. I don't care about other brands. I felt the same way - it was easy to use, and the ink flowed smoothly. And it is always ready to use.
Once I didn’t touch my pens for two years. They were all dry, but my Eco was as though I had just inked it up. Started writing the moment it touched paper.
I do the ink + pen marriage thing too 😆 Especially when the pen is a distinct color. It's why I purchased several inexpensive clear Lamys just to have enough for my ink stash. Thank you for sharing. 🙂
Whenever I find that a color isn’t a fav, I like to add a little black to it and create a new color. I bought diamine bilberry and midnight and found them too bright for my liking but mixed with black i like them both. I’ve been recently enjoying Sailor harahara and color verse coffee break is definitely a favorite. Those noodles bottles are huge! I never purchase a bottle larger than 30 ml and agree the herbin 10ml size is perfect.
I would be delighted to use any of the lovely inks you’re looking to up cycle! I am new to using fountain pens and received one as a gift and need inks. I am recently watching your videos here, pretty funny since I just had my 61st birthday! I just started watching YT in the last two months and would like you to know how much I enjoy and appreciate your channel. I find them relaxing to watch when resting in the afternoons. Have a great day, Michelle!😊
Oh, thank you so much! It warms my heart to hear that you enjoy my videos. While the inks have been claimed for, I do hope you continue to enjoy your new fountain pen journey!❤
Alas I'm a lover of the pocket Kaweco pens. I really like the Majohn/ Moonman vanishing point duplicates. I'm totally here for a destash or ink trade. Chef's kiss video❤
I am so fascinated! I've been interested in getting a fountain pen but I just never pulled the trigger. Also, I was nervous because I've never tried one before. I had no idea that's how you fill them! That's so cool! ps. oh boy, jetpens here I go. Lol!
I'm a twsbi fan too. I know a lot of fountain pen users are split on Twsbi pens due to the cracking/crazing issues. When they came out with the Earl Grey Goulet Exclusive Benu pen I was drooling. So that ended up being my first Benu! Heads up, they discontinued Cosmo Air paper. The bespoke fountain pen issue is most likely the converter isn't fitting correctly into the pen. It looks like its a standard universal converter. So you may want to grab a new converter or pack of cartridges. I typically prefer to refill empty cartridges with a syringe instead of messing with converters. Fun video! -Heather
Yes, I'm sad they discontinued the Cosmo air paper. That's why I'm holding on to my Galen Leather Cosmo notebook, along with a few extra packs of these blank versions I shared in the video. Love how the ink shows up on this paper. Thanks for the converter tip. I'll give that a try!
I love my TWSBI Eco. And yes, I do pair inks to many of my pens (but not all of them). My Eco is the White & Rose Gold from last year, so it takes all kinds of inks.
I’ve been wanting to get the Caffe TWISBI pen too! I’m a super noobie in the fountain pen world, I just have one TWSBI pen and ink (noodlers black) that my husband got me for my birthday this year. Interested in your ink destash!
Omgosh I’m gonna have to get that TWISBI. I think it’s been a year since I bought a fountain pen and I actually stopped using them! 🙈 but last week I had a look through my fountain pen collection again but didn’t ink anything up. I think I need to get this colour and also the ink. It’s a perfect cozy match. Thanks for sharing 😊
Super generous of you to offer all those inks for $20! I just recently got a kaweco sport which is my second fountain pen to my platinum preppy :) i’m thinking the robert oster cafe crema might be the first ink i sample after using up the blue cartridge that my kaweco came with. But deep down i want to get the indigo blue bronze twsbi eco and put caffe crema in there 🤪 i can so see how people become fountain pen collectors
I'm the same way, I tend to stay with the same ink once I pair it with a certain pen. I think the only time I will switch is when I use up a bottle of ink and then I may find a similar color in a different brand I want to try. And, yes, TWSBI is my favorite fountain pen brand.
I am newer to fountain pens and I dont have any inks to speak of. I got a cartridge with one of my pens and a tiny sample with another glass pen. Unfortunately they are both black. My favorite pen so far is Jinhoa 9036 , I think it write smoother than my TWSBI! I would love the Hari ink or the last green one if you still have those available.
@bearzu Fountain pens are addictive. You need one for each color of ink, then there are different nib sizes and when you find a pen and ink that seem to be made for each other well...
Love the video and yes paper does matter! Inks are my favorite. You can use the ink for coloring or a swatch of color on a page! Can you do a video on fountain pen friendly paper?
Just thought I would let you know I haven't had any leaks from my fountain pen from the Little Pen Shop. His pens are gorgeous! What helped me is to refill the converter with syringe and make sure I get it on right so it doesn't leak. It's less messy to use a syringe to refill the converter ;) I also wanted to mention I also love London Fog lattes. If you ever have a 2-3 cup day, a French Press works great and keeps it nice and warm!!!
I love the kaweco sport! I haven’t ventured out a lot cuz it’s just so damn cute. I did try a jinhao x159, i think it was….nope. Didn’t care for the size or writing experience. I am attracted to the mini twisbi and the glow in the dark eco (purple and green) but I do like them because they glow. I love everything glow-in-the-dark.
I am interested in the five inks. I am trying to grow my ink collection. I have been enjoying several inks from Birmingham Pens. A breed Adobe is on my Autumn list, along with Canterbury Raisin and Chlorophyll. Ancient Copper has been an Autumn staple for me for years. I started out with a LAMY but I love my TWSBI’s. I am an artist and I have one TWSBI that is always filled with Carbon Black ink, which is water-proof. I have several, special resin pens but I find that I always have a TWISBI in my purse.
I've been eyeballing the Esterbrook botanical garden.. I've been unsure about buying it until after my phone purchase. Lol I've been saving and saving for a new phone.. Let me tell you that pen has been singing to me from my window "let down thy hair!" lol it's been real hard!

Hi I am new here 😊, I don’t have that kind of pens but I am interesting now with tour video😅, I went to the web site to check it out ,what nib size you recommend?😊
your twisbis all look great i love your taste. unfortunately i have half a dozen fountain pens but the twisbi i bought is the only one that has broken, and it didnt take very long either. the top of it where the pen clip attached to the top of the pen cracked and chipped right off..its ugly now :/ so i have been on the fence about ever getting another twisbi...it still works but the cap is just ugly now and makes me sad and makes me not want to use it so it just sits uninked now.. maybe it was something to do with the climate where i live, i donno. I have seen other posts on facebook groups where people have had the same thing happen to their twisbis..but who knows, maybe it can happen to many other pens and maybe it was just unlocky it happened to my twisbi, or unique to that exact pen material...but it was def a design flaw of the way the clip was on that material of pen imo
