Water planet in Rio de Janeiro had something similar to this. It was a loong ride that travels across the whole park in high/medium speed, and went throught dense trees forest and rock mountains, which gave this feeling of very tropical. The only problem was the looooong lines formed to play... Thats why it was good to go only on mondays. And you didn't slide with your raw body only, you had to pick up a floater. You could take a floater that had room for 2 or 3 people.
It was awesome.
