Thanks for the heads-up Doc. Happy you’re on the mend. Great advice…and you’re right about all the RUclips people doing stupid things….on both sides of the camera. Looks as if you’re having a mild winter there. Take care, keep the tractors runnin’ and the videos comin’. Mac

Doc, you are 110% right! These are big animals and they can hurt you without trying. We had the last livestock operation in a county that was overun by suberbia. All the new city people that moved in wanted me to let their kids pet the cows. When I told them no, that made me the bad guy that hated children. I also see the same thing on other channels with people playing with their stock. One in particular is a farm in upstate N.Y. This guy is in pasture rubbing and scratching the bull while there are cows in heat in the same pen. He is no amature and should know better. Any time I was loading a bull in a truck I always had Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson with me.

I helped a neighbor once! He had an old blind cow with horns. Needless to say she dropped her head and swung and got me in the shin. Felt like it broke my leg.
    Lucky it didn't.

You need to introduce your goat to Prudence The Safety Goat that AvE has on his RUclips channel. Prudence will talk some sense into yours!
All kidding aside, anyone that's been around livestock for any length of time knows (as you obviously do) that you NEVER let your guard down. As you said, accidents do happen and, as you also said, the can, and will hurt you if they want to.
