I want to document through video showing my progress in a free community on skool that i can direct them too from social media. Problem is though, i have no idea how i can monetise that audience into a paid skool community because they will all be purchasing from the vendors site?

Can you start a Skool community for free and then after a certain amount of members, change to a subscription... what is the advantages and or disadvantages of this strategy? Im having a hard time justifying having a free group and a paid group...
No unfortunately you can't. You can start a 14 day free trial, but that's about it. I would suggest building an email list first or if you have one, you can leverage that to jump start the community.

Glad you liked it :) I've heard about Mighty Networks. Know they have been around for a long time. But Skool will completely take over this year. It will be crazy. Having big names in the industry like Alex Hormozi promoting it will have a huge impact. Sam has also sold courses himself for over $30M+/year, so he know what he's doing. I' 110% sure he has crazy ideas planned for Skool in the future. It's just a smart business move to leverage this massive trend coming. It will be massive :)

No magic suace. Just make content people actually find useful.
The way i see it at the moment he got his audiance and traffic from the videos he made and posted on social media. That traffic went to his funnel and from there a few signed up for the community.
its like a referral pyramid scheme

Hey Max, I was casually scrolling through YT when one of your videos got recommended
to me and I gotta say, I really like your content.
However, I noticed a few things about your videos that could be improved to get you more Views &
clients. (I assume that's your goal)
I've generated 184 leads from my RUclips channel in the last 3 months and I've also worked
with many coaches helping them get clients from their videos, so I know how hard and time
consuming it can be to figure out the right strategy.
That's why I would like to give you some of my feedback and potentially see if we're a good
fit. Would you be against jumping on a quick call for this?
1st, stop saying you're organic. Your organic (claiming that you can make $600k) does not compare to someone else's organic starting from scratch & who can't make that big of a claim. Like, let me start an IG saying "hey guys, click to watch a 7 hour masterclass to see how I made $150 in 2024 by launching course..." lol can you see how its not comparable!? It's false hope & misleading. You're a cool guy & I LOVE Skool, but this has to stop.
