This film was taken the day after Dianas Melbourne concert. She is seen leaving Melbournes now-demolished Southern Cross Hotel before being taken to the Zoo at Royal Park. The Australian reporter with her is David Hill of the Australian Broadcasting commission(ABC). It was a common Australian media staple to introduce visiting performers(particularly Americans) to Australian fauna.
She got better looking once she had the kids. This is more like between lady sings the blues and mahogany she was enjoying her no one single touch me in the morning at this time. She looks great here. wig is natural looking. Those animals didn't realize that Mrs Ross was trying to show them some love . Shame on their behavior, she should have them made into a fur for her for their poor behavior!

Diana wore thinner than normal quite well. It suited her fine. And remember she already had Rhonda for two or three years by this time.
yeah she was not our first choice. she was to thin I remember watching her as a supreme on tv in the 1960s. We liked girls liked Mary Cindy and Flo, Diana Looked odd to us at that time, those eyes and being so thin Freda Payne, Tina Turner were ideal women, We even thought that Diahann Carroll was better looking. We just were happy to see three Black women on TV wearing the most expensive glamorous gowns that money could buy! they did not let us black people on tv to much and they were some of the first black faces that you would see on tv on the regular.
What is so priceless about Diana Ross going to the Zoo? She knew how to appeal to people and seem like animals too. Probably all for stage, promote that career Diana "by all means necessary." Cora Hudson
Just asking why would Diana have to go to a zoo to promote her career seems quite odd specially at that point and time , at that point in her career at the hight she was on, was nearly automatic ,so all she had to was just be and the poparazzi was right on her like glue to papper.
