You mention an "owner's manual" several times. Is this document accessible (downloadable) via the Internet? If so, what is the link? Thank you for this helpful video!
I have mine in a grow room. If I set it to auto will it hold my set temperature? And switch between heat and cooling depending which one it needs to achieve set temperature?
I've been told you can direct the air manually. I'm afraid to push it and break it so before I try can you tell me if I push it so the air goes to the side it won't break? Thanks for any help.
I see so many videos where people say "you can manually adjust the air direction side to side" but with no explanation on HOW. I'm looking to redirect my airflow to the left and just need to know how to do this. Thanks!
@@petermorris9818 no worries. Glad I could help. It gets frustrating on these comments when you ask the most simple question and people act like they don't understand what you're asking...
I had a Samsung heat pump installed last August and the temperature has never been calibrated correctly. The remote doesn’t work with all the features. I can’t even set the time on it to set a schedule. It would be nice if Samsung would respond to the comments on here from their customers.
I find mine runs consistently even when it gets to temperature, it then blows cool air at me, should it not go to sleep? I do not have a owners manual and I can’t get answers, tried calling Samsung, got no help
It should remain on, it takes more energy to stop and start the compressor than to just run a low speed. If you want the cool air blowing put it in windfree mode, note, this mode is only available in cooling.
Can someone please explain how to set unit to run every day from 7 AM to 7 PM and then turn off (sleep mode?) for 12 hours (and of course repeat the cycle day after day)?
The auto function can be like that depending on the climate. In New Brunswick, where the shoulder seasons see drastic temperature swings, we recommend you select HEAT or COOL mode accordingly. That for the comment!
@@GreenfootEnergySolutions what is considered a drastic temperature swing? We have one. The temperatures are 40s - 80s at the moment . We have reptiles that need more consistent temperatures. I’m worried it will heat too much or not enough while we are out and the temperature shifts.
I just had one of these installed last week. It doesn’t seem to work correctly and it never shuts off no matter what I set the temperature at for air-conditioning and dehumidifying. I just called the company and they told me they cannot and will not answer any questions that I have about the product and that I have to go through the person who installed it. How in the world can you spend this much money on a product from your company and not have customer service to answer any questions? I need a second Heat Pump and I will not be going with Samsung they don’t even have customer service.
That sounds weird and also the company that installed them should be able to answer any question you have and also it runs continuously to circulate the air, it’s not like an oil burner that turns off after it gets to a certain temperature in your house

Just start and stop the movement types on the remote. Stop them where you want them.
Can I set 2 different on and off times per day ?
great video Russell.

You just push the bottom button between the temperature button and the fast button

@@blakehalley3254 Nice one!!! I tried that before but was worried about breaking it. Sorted! Very grateful indeed, Ta
