    Thank you, Corin! I have three JWP's that have exhibited the exact same needle browning in the past couple of weeks that you document here. I consoled myself with the fact that the browning needles were the older growth, but you've confirmed that the trees are doing exactly what they're supposed to.     WOW!!!!! nice work Corin. That's the sort of work I've carried out on my Juniper, thank you for the knowledge you share with us.
    By the way . . . you would make a great barber! 🙂 My hair is getting a bit long and my beard needs a trim, any chance of a tidy up? 😆

    What is the reason for grafting white pine onto black pine?

      1/ makes them hardier and more vigorous 2/ you get a blue colour instead of green

      Better craggy bark at an earlier age, better colour, and roots are more suited to container culture.
