I love summer for all the activities and just being able to be more laid back with everything! But I love the nostalgia and feel of fall! 😍 I feel ya on the dishes and laundry, it never ends! I just cleaned my kids playroom and it's already almost back to it's original state! It's one of those chores that feels like a revolving door!

I'm from west Virginia, and ya know when It comes to seasons. I have to say each one holds a special place to me. Summer I love seeing the kids playing outside, fires at night, camping, spring the green coming back as it warms enough to be outside, fall like you smells snugging with babies to watch movies, winter comes snow fun. And like you said the holidays.

Hello there! Just a suggestion for organizing toys and helping kiddos know where to put them… we bought a toy organizer and we print big stickers with a picture of what goes into each bin you could also cut pictures out of magazines and tape the pictures onto each bin with clear tape.. it teaches them from a young age how to organize..

So ready to declutter with you through August and the fall! I need to declutter several spaces in our home and definitely need some motivation! Love your videos! ❤️
An idea for the playroom - I would get rid of the play kitchen and cash register. Kids can make believe/turn anything into a kitchen and store and those items take up so much space with only 1 function. With those gone, you would have room to put the fun climbing stuff in a permanent spot and get storage cubes like in their bedroom closet to organize the toys really well.

I really love that all of your kids are in one room and that you have the space for a play room by doing so. Maybe when my kids get a little older i can do that and keep all the toys out of the living room. Will definitely be a while. Baby number 2 is just about 3 weeks away from being here. Got to get through the newborn stage.

winter the colours and smells
Where to start (I started decluttering when I was pregnant with my 3rd-now have 5), get rid of whole categories. So I started with toy kitchen, then dolls, then action figures, then put away all books except for 5 books each kids, then lincoln logs, etc. The kids never even play with any of their toys, they prefer to build forts with blankets, play on their bikes, etc. Best decision ever was to keep decluttering. Watch the minimal mom for tips! And I love crazy cleaning mama for motivation. My kids have never been happier, having literally barely any toys, they use their imagination instead ♡ what we have left, fidgets, balls, shape matching block for my young ones, and I have put away animal figures, trains and barbies (but may declutter them since they haven't even asked about them since putting them away. They spend their days making fort blankets, playing with each other, doing the scratch books, reading, playing outside, etc.
Oh and I live in Wisconsin ♡

For your playroom and wanting to get rid of a whole bunch of toys, why not start with one bin a day and if you find you can do more than do more and ask your kids which toys they would like to give to a kid in need. Hope that helps 🙏 🙂
