I was told since I was 4/5 to be a doctor. and I almost did but I was like nah I’m not gonna go into a degree I’ll fail and go into debt for 😂
See I didn’t listen I’m a mental health therapist. The heart is in the right place but money wise it should’ve been the medical field

Not only did they have it right from looks alone on the first try but they ended up back at the right order halfway through.. second guessing themselves and trying to spot a potential curve ball..
Also wanted to say for Lenore, even though she didn’t have any scholarships, most companies will cover/assist with reeducation programs. The only catch for those is remaining at they company for x amount of time or you owe the full amount. Just a tip in case you do this again 😊

Definitely not always accurate. For all the international students you may see on your campuses on scholarships, that’s less than 1% of people applying. I have tried and though the scholarships are there, they are EXTREMELY (and that’s an understatement) hard to actually get. It’s not realistic

my country just passed a law that uni/college students will receive the tuitions money back… it’s crazy to see how high the debts in this video are

Yeah in the UK if you don't make above a certain salary in a certain amount of time you don't have to pay it back
@@rc-tm6zvScotland is slightly different, it's free as the government pays all the fees. You can take a loan for living costs if you want to which is only paid back if you earn a above a certain amount in a certain amount of time or its written off

As someone from Europe this triggers me soooo much…generally a bachelors here 🇵🇹 costs less than 1k per year and a masters around 1k per year, ofc private colleges are more expensive but still I can’t imagine having 50k in debt pls 💀💀💀
as someone from the uk i have to say i'm so jealous cos one year of uni here is around 9k💔
And in some countries like mine (Czech republic) we have it free 😂 if we end before 26, but even after it is not that expensive
@@mariesindlerova9663i honestly think that is so amazing, and might be part of the reason why european countries (in my opinion) seem to have a bigger focus on continuing education and pursuing scholarly interests not to purely get a well paying job. i wish in the u.s. that we would be more encouraged to learn for pleasure/the desire to just know more, instead college/university is just a mechanism to be financially successful... or maybe at this point just somewhat financially stable…

I got my undergrad degree at a PWI, but I had grants, FAFSA, and scholarships. My parents paid like less than half of the actual cost per semester. I’m currently getting my MBA online right now and due to getting FAFSA I’m not paying a dime. My student loan debt probably by the time I get my MBA hopefully will be way less than 33k.

Fr, if you play it smart you can go to college for pretty cheap. Of course that often comes with good grades, test scores, family support, but it will be different for everyone. I'm in a similar boat to you though except at an in-person.
