As beautiful as this surf is I find myself thinking- “are these guys fucking w me and surfing switch? Or is this the sickos crew in disguise (video masters that can’t surf or skate at all), so why exactly am I watching this again? It’s so awkward to watch when I know you all kill it in the snow. (Your area of expertise) TBH it’s just painful to watch sponsored noobs try to do not only basic wave judgment, but how to move your bodies. Not a single wave I saw that made me think Ok , they’re getting it... Maybe next trip get Gravy to join you so it’s not so painful. -plain and simple/ surfing is a young man’s sport. No one wants to watch 30yr old snowboarders try to figure out Fiji. At least I don’t. Perhaps your Midwest audience enjoys it, but it’s like inviting a seasoned concert musician to a your local karaoke session. It’s painful. Im gonna unsubscribe till winter comes for you guys. Sorry not sorry
Love watching these guys surf! CW is killing it , and living the dream...He is literally a professional surfer.. I would much rather watch this than watch JOB surf pipe for the millionth time.
Hope you don't apply that same mindset to new things you try in your life! You won't enjoy a single second of any day you live! But i respect it, maybe take a gander at the comments if your truly confused whats going on here because you seem to be THE ONLY one who thinks that, and when that happens I usually ask myself is it ME? lol But once again ALL RESPECT AND ALL LOVE We shall see ya in the winter when were getting spit out of fucking double overhead KEGS in Hawaii and landing HUGE air 360's! I started all my hobbies young in life and don’t have to Noob it and put it on the internet for all to witness.#qualitycontrol . I like your other videos man don’t get me wrong, it’s this surf phase you’re goin thru that is just awkward. I’m sure you’ll eventually get it maybe. It’s one of those things that for me, if it comes natural then you were meant to do it.. to force it just I dunno man it’s cringe. You’re a good skater, why not balance it out with that rather than go all in and have us all witness twisting bodies/flailing arms that have no business out there? Many feel the pull from the ocean I get it. But most should just stay on the beach. It’s crazy harmful for the environment traveling to good surf, yet the ppl do it nonstop. Just kinda weird to me bc if you’re a real ocean person they’d respect that. But they don’t. Typhoons and global warming are no joke and are just gonna get worse but no one gives a f. They want to do what they want no matter the consequences. Goes to show most surfers are rich boy kooks anyways. I apologize man that I’m sure this is a lot to digest and if you knew me you’d understand. It’s nothing against you. It’s mainly about the internet straight up ruining surfing. I truly don’t mean to rain on your parade here, it’s just I grew up in Ventura before surfing was ruined by the internet and to witness it just getting smashed on all levels- something that was so close to my heart for majority of my youth just sucks. Truly hope you get to experience a real shack tho. You’re putting in the work and it’ll happen. It’d be cool if you balanced out some of this content with the occasional skate mission. So many rad diy’s out there in the world and concrete is sooo less forgiving than a reef break. Be well
