If I am remembering correctly, Noelle confirmed that Catra lost all of her lives and Adora restored them in season 5.
I’m genuinely surprised she hadn’t lost all her nine lives before seasons five
Actually she did. When Prime electrocuted her that was her last life burned, when Adora healed her as shera her lives reset.

I don't think her redemption was quick (if you think about it it was literally almost 5 seasons long) but rather that characters forgave her too quickly.
It makes sense in an all-out war setting, to a degree and there were much bigger fish to fry obviously. Not to mention she still got attacked by the people that had no idea what she sacrificed to help the main trio.
I just find it lacking that we never got to see an after-war setting where she might genuinely have to deal with the repercussions of her actions.
I wouldn’t say she was redeemed to quick I say she was redeemed too late and should have had more screen time to transition and adjust more accordingly
@@goji253 Well It was logical for Adora to forgive her because not only did Catra finally apologize for everything, followed by sacrificing herself ,dying in Adora's arms (thanks Noelle-) but also because of their shared childhood and friendship she knows Catra's good hearted nature,she's seen the abuse Catra suffered from.Prior to leaving the Horde she pretty much "justified" the abuse saying that Catra was only disrespectful to SW. But once she defects she's come to learn of how toxic & abusive SW Is in S-4 she even sees how SW starts to corrupt Glimmer. or When Scorpia infiltrates BM and says how *everything made sense about the way Catra's been acting* the camera pans to Adora with her glancing over to SW. In S-5 SW drives a wedge between them again and she knows exactly who to confront this time. for Glimmer.. Her and Catra are foils to one another she too gets driven in making an mistake that is equally destructive as pulling the switch.The heart was capable of wiping out the entire universe.By the time they're on the ship they can only really reside in eachother's presence.Glimmer got to have first rows seats to Catra's change and eventually even saw Catra's limp/dead body and it didn't feel fulfilling she even tears up. Bow also gets teary at the sight of this. He does makes a remark afterwards how Catra did push them of a cliff once, but still allows her in the BFS because he just knows how much she means to Adora.they're the good guys so they're willing to see the good in others Bow's just that precious. Like the moment Adora wants to save Catra they're both so ride or die for her.
