Hi Rachel! I love your videos so much as i started watching them when i was dating (but now married) a Jordanian man. I'll be moving to Amman pretty soon and was trying to figure out a great way to get groceries as i've noticed in Carrefour and the little shops that they don't always have what you need as well, you mentioned ordering them through an app, would you mind sharing it or doing a video about getting your day to day supplies in Amman? Love the content and your approach to life in the region, thank you so so much for sharing and for keeping an open mind!
You converted to Islam im orthodox Christian from the holy land did you see the darkness and mist in good Friday in april and you now don't believe that jesus crucified it's written in the gospel that when Jesus crucified it's written that there's darkness on earth and you live in Jordan can you see the darkness and mist next year in april in your country because you don't believe that jesus crucified in the quran its a very huge evidence that jesus crucified 🤠

Congrats on wearing Hijab. Last time i watched a vid of urs u were not, may Allah bless u and ur family Its beauftiful to do what suites you the best so friday and saturday suites us better because of friday prayer. And as u know friday is somehow special becausr Allah created us in this day.
I love your videos as they show the true face of Jordan. Could you make a video about how to make friends as an ex-pat? I lived in Jordan before and I'm thinking of moving back to Jordan from London UK. Last time I lived in Jordan I made friends through work (I'm a secondary school teacher) and my kids made friends through school. My wife's Jordanian and already has family and friends but not that many for be to be friends with. This time I'll be working online and my kids might be homeschooling so we'll have less opportunities to make friends. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Shanina is not necessary to do the soup for chaacheel or mansaf, you can always replace it with yogurt with some liquid Jameed (like Alkaseeh). Mix it in a blender with one egg
@@aliel-3bbadi18 This is called improvising.... You should always try to find an alternative instead of weeping. Good blended yogurt from a good shop is much better than a shanina made from the remaining sour leftover yogurt from a greedy shop.
Most Muslim countries had weekend on Thursday/Fridays even til the 90s. Then many changed to Friday/Saturdays. Few couple years back changed to Saturday/Sunday with some doing half day Fridays. More recently in Europe a study suggesting people are over worked and 4 days is sufficient, some countries are opting to 3 full day weekends even Fri-Sun (also covering all three Abrahamic faiths)

It is not mandatory for women to go to the masjid on Fridays, jjust for men, ....but we can go to make the Jummuah salat , yes !! and listen to the khutbah, what is quite good.
It is from the Quran and Sunnah that we muslims have Fridays as the holy day. It is not part of culture, but an obligation for all muslims. It does not make sense to choose another day , just because western countries and christians there in Jordan ( as a minority ) have the Sunday . Jummuah has a great importance for us and has to be respected. If you are muslim , you should know that.
Good afternoon ma,I need your honest advise please, I have got an agent that wants to help me get an employment Visa for Jordan My question is, after the 2 years contract, is it a must I come back to Nigeria or I can still stay in Jordan to continue working for years? Secondly, the offer I got is based on the agent splitting my salary into 2 for a whole year plus about $700 initial down payment, is it a good offer for me to go ahead with?? Thirdly, plsss, working in a restaurant or fast food and my husband coming to join me in Jordan, can we possibly live a normal life on our salary, as in, can we have our 1st child, get a studio apartment, get the basic need of the unborn child, food, utilities if the both of us are working as cleaner Thank you so much for your reply, I have been following up and noticed you have been in Jordan for about 4 years, I pray God crown your effort and bless you. Mistake $860 from naira to dollars. For the payment I made in Nigeria Then my salary will be split for a year
