I had Beats ,Sony but Bose still the best in sound, most comfortable and best noise cancelling headphone I’ve ever had

Had mine a week. Great headphones. They will be even better when Immersive audio becomes a real mainstream thing other than in the music genre. Don’t work well with Netflix IMO.

I bought these mainly for home watching movies and video's. These are definitely the best for that. I tried the Bowers & Wilkins px7 s2e and the MX5 from Sony too. Immersion sound makes all the difference.
I had these about a month. I love the sound absolutely brilliant! The app is not super customizable but good enough. The ANC is great! The best you can buy hence the price tag. BUT I kept really feeling dizzy, vertigo type feeling and had to return them. If I didn't have issue, which I have never had on other headphones I would have kept them. I am now trying the Sony XM5, so far no issues a few days in. I do miss the Bose QC Ultra sound though.
Hi . I just got the xm5,s tbh I'm disappointed with the amount of noice I can hear, I tested them walking along a high street and can still hear all the traffic and even people walking by, I then tried them in a coffee shop and can still hear every one around me talking.
Are there any ear buds that will give an experience where all the surrounding sound will be cut out ?
Would you wait for the AirPod Max 2 or cop these?? I’m torn!

Could you tell me please which one of them more suits for audiobooks and podcasts, I mean where are voices more natural and pleasant? Actually I already got Bose qs ultra and find them quite good for listening audiobooks but still I can change them if Sennheisers make the job with voices better than Bose. Thanks for this excellent review! I received mine yesterday and am very, very satisfied! Except: I am experiencing a mechanical clicking noise in the right earcup - perhaps it's the swivel mechanism. Got in touch with Bose support and have been recommended by them to return and replace the headphones. I will do this and report back below in a week or so if I experience the same issue with the replacement unit.

I LOVE these headphones. Easily the best pair of headphones I’ve ever owned. I’m a sucker for bass, and these headphones scratch that itch easily. I had a pair of Beats that kept me going for a long while, but the noise canceling and Spatial Audio on these bad boys?? There’s just no comparison for me.

I recently got the Bose Quietconfort Ultra and their volume is ok but it doesn't give me that punch that i could picture in my mind before i got them even at high volume.
This is my first headphones, i have experience with true wireless with bose quietconfort earbuds first generation and the volume, the bass and the punch Is soooo cool. So that's why i picked the Bose headphones.
The Momentum 4 was my boy for a long time but finally i decided for the Bose because i have the QC Earbuds 1st generation and they are my sunshine haha.
But as i said, the volume in the Bose headphones ones is not as loud as the earbuds and that makes me wonder sennheiser Momentum 4 sounds louder? I just want to know if i decided correctly 🥺 My priority is the volume anyways.
PS: I know the sound quality in the M4's are better than Bose. I don't considerate myself as an audiophile, i just enjoy to listen music with these features: Volume, Bass, Punch and a good sound quality.

Supersaf My phone samsung m52 5g is having green line issue in center after August security patch. Just a week after updating my personal phone. I am so sad no one is doing anything about this display green line issue. And service center is asking for Rs 7000. My phone is just one month out of warranty.

Yep, you pay for the ANC, and that's pretty much it. The Momentum 4 beats all headphones in it's class by a mile in the audio quality.
THese actually sound great, and Ive never been a fan of BOSE sound.

@shahangilani I would say you can look up some sennheiser and find videos they are definitely a good brand for audiophiles cost maybe from as low as 180-500 or higher depending on your price range

I agree, I own both. I had the Sony'S 1st, then bought the Bose. Sony has the best sound. The volume is louder and calls are much clearer. Bose still wins in the noise canceling. The problem I have with the Sonys is the voice to talk option kicks in even after I turn it off. They also seem to disconnect at random, even when I'm on a call. I Still prefer the Sonys
what i like about Bose over Sony is Bose can connect to multiple sources at the same time without failing like sony.

Can’t believe the #capacitivebs has come to headphones, definitely a big no for volume control. Easier to accidentally activate and just annoying in general. They should stick to volume buttons, way less frustrating and more natural

But at $430 Dollars ..The Sham Gemmick Company Bose(901’s Pure Junk) For some Cheapo Plastic Headphones, and battery life at 24 Hours, Sennheiser Momentum 4’’s are at 60 Hours..and You get quality mildrange.
Honestly feel like I got a good deal on mine. Got them on a 12% discount from Amazon and then used a $200 gift card I had to get them at around $210

I bought the Sony xm5's when they launched, and the cabin pressure bothered me so much I gave them to my dad. I've heard similar complaints about these ultras, i want a flagship so bad but not ones that have me feel sick. My friend gave me his old qc 35ii, and they are the best.

Battery life is shit compared to Sennheiser momentum 4 with 60 friggin hours with ANC. I mean, why can't they put a bigger battery in there? We've had 20-30 hours for years and years now.
Are the Momentum 4's still buggy with connectivity problems?

@@tytownsend8219 I highly recommend them. The sound of the momentum 4 is better and wider than both the xm5 and the new quietcomfort ultra. I am a professional music producer and an audiophile. I Use the momentum 4 on the go and hooked up while mixing. Works wonders.
My new Bose QC Ultra replaced the B&W PX7S2 which sound way better and build quality is better as well imo. But the Bose are the better package because of the excellent ANC and their light weight and they are foldable. However, the sound itself is okay, but not breathtaking or anyway as clear as B&W PX7S2 or S2e. Immersive sound is a joke, really strange as I would sit in a glas house. Might be okay for watching movies on Laptop or tablet, but that's it. And, as you mentioned, the black version plastic shows any trace of grease.
Thank you for your comparison to the B&W PX7S2, as I was very close to getting those instead of the QC Ultra! I received my Bose QC Ultra two days ago and am experiencing mechanical clicking noises in the right earcup each time I move my head. Bose support recommended a replacement. You are not experiencing such mechanical noises, no? Without that flaw I would be super satisfied with these: very best ANC and superb comfort!

I second this, I purchased both the px7 s2e and the xm5 to see which would be the best for me. I have to say the sound quality on the xm5 is seriously subpar for its price. Every track sounds like it’s veiled and vocals sound like the singer is wearing a mask. Px7 s2e sounds much better in every way. The ANC on the Sony is better but it’s not a night and day difference.
It’s interesting how everyone is talking about Bose Ultra ANC, but no one seems to mention it's sound quality. Spoiler alert: it’s bad. I own a Sony XM5, and my brother recently bought a Bose Ultra. It was a disappointment because overall it sounds muffled and lacks punchy bass. He regrets his purchase wishing he had opted for the Sony XM5 instead. Before buying, make sure to test the devices and ideally compare with other models to avoid any surprises. Keep in mind that video reviews may not always provide the full picture.

You can create custom modes in the app for this headphone and essentially choose noise cancellation to be 0.
@@where3639 'Essentially' is good enough for most people, but for us who get headaches from it, it has to be actually 0. luckily i finally found a headphone made by non smoothbrains

I was totally interested in buying a pair to replace my Quiet Comfort 2’s until you mentioned £450! By the time I’ve saved enough to buy a pair, Bose will have already introduced the next generation so unlikely I’ll ever get to upgrade.
The Sony XM5 is a better pair of headphones in my experience. I own two pairs. One in Midnight blue and the other one in Silver and also have the Bose Ultra’s in white smoke.
I think the Bose is way overpriced for what they offer. I just can’t find anything that can justify the higher price tag when compared to the XM5. Both of them sound fantastic and have top tier noise cancelling but the Bose isn’t totally silent like the Sony. It has a hiss that’s noticeable when no audio is being played. Although the Bose does block out slightly more low end frequencies, the noise cancelling on the Sony feels much better across the board.
I’ve seen many reviews where users complain about the build quality on the Sony but my experience with them has been incredible so far and I’m certain they will last me a very long time. I’m actually disappointed with the build quality of the Bose. The earcups sound hollow and the headband sounds like cheap plastic. You can hear it when you touch the headband while wearing them. Overall, comfort is excellent but I have to give the slight edge to Sony. The only real advantage of the Bose is the immersive audio feature which significantly improves the audio experience. Other than that, I think Sony has the best pair of headphones in the market at the moment.

i have over 50 earbuds and over 45 headphones over the ear, so yes i know what i am talking about.
Ok, let's see immersion mode: when you activate the immeraion mode, it cuts 75% of the bass. Yes you have a type of surround sound, but the volume decrease and the bass disappear !!! Not for music listening. Even for movies, the immersion mode is BS !!!
THE EQ IS BASS, MID AND TREBLE hahaha we are in 2023 Bose !!!! Give us at minimum 5 or 8 band eq !!

The best headphones around ear and on ear that i bought for clarity and bass is the B&W PX8 (around 900$ canadian). Comdort, clarity, bass (oh yeah and punchy), and high volume, instruments separation is AMAZING !!! There us no headphone perfect. If you take the Mark levinson they cost 1700$ canadian, they are the most expensive one. For clarity, vocals and instruments separation they are thr best and by a mile !!! But they lack in bass region A LOT lol. The focal bathys, are my second best for what you need, but for bass, they are not the best.
I realize after thousand and thousand of dollars, that yes pricey headphones sound superb, but they oftenly lack in bass. They are not fun to listen to. Every time you want to rise the bass on them they have distortion. Headphones around 1000$ is for the audiophile person who wants to hear every detail, like the singer take his breath before singing and every sparkle of cymbals.
BUT, now read carefully! If you want THE BEST FOR YOUR BUCK, GO FOR THE SENNHEISER MOMEMTUM 4 ! nothing comes close of this headphones !!! Clarity, BASSSS, instruments separation (one of the best that ive heard), high volume, comfort is second to none! Build quality is OK. So, go for sennheiser, or if you are the type of person who is audiophile, go for B&W px8 or mark levinson or focal bathys...but much expansive :(
Just for you to understand: if you listen to bose ultra and sennheiser after them, it's like try a honda civic and a ferrari. I am not joking !!! Honda is ok value but ferrari is in a completely different league. If you have any question on headphones or earbuds, feel free to ask my friend :)

One more thing: do you have an iphone or an android? With android you can reach a much higher sound quality because of the codecs used. On iphone is only AAC. With android, you can reach APTX (HD, ADAPTIVE OR LOSSLESS). Is there a difference in the sound? Oh yes ! Clarity is much better and bass is tighter!
Amazon music is one of the best for sound quality and you have an EQ to tweak the sound. Big difference with spotify. Oh by the way sorry for bad english, i speak french here in Quebec city :)
