In this pro wrestling documentary, I attempt to take a look at the dark side of the ring, with the rise and fall of one of WWE and WWF biggest female stars, Joanie Laurer, Chyna. From Chyna's tragic upbringing and harsh childhood, through her transformation into a goddess in the gym. From her time at the Kowalski wrestling school and her debut in WWF alongside Shawn Michaels and Triple H and DX. We will see how Chyna competed in the WWE Royal Rumble, WWF King Of The Ring and even defeated Jeff Jarrett for the Intercontinental Championship. This is part one of a two part WWE documentary.

She went to court to have her name change to "Chyna " doll. She didn't want to be Joanie. Unfortunately she lost her life to drugs. Wendi Richter 1980's top female wrestler was screwed by the company. She wrestled at other places and she went got her masters degree and became a physical therapist. @nicolebailey4426 it was male dominated entertainment. She did alot to achieve where she got. The catalyst for her down fall was Triple H hooking up with Stephanie. Not that I wish anyone had her life, but for most part she did well for herself.

    • @nicolebailey4426

@@JanneSmith-n8r umm who hasn't been cheated on . Her downfall was herself. Sorry but she was not as emotional strong as physically. I care about my life and yes there are no guarantees. How long ago was the affair. Over 20 years ago. Matt Hardy was cheated on by Lita with his friend Edge. Sure he was hurt and he lost his job with WWE. Guess what all 3 are alive and the guys may no longer be friends but are married . Edge of course is divorced and married a different woman. Lita is doing her thing without Matt. She wanted the same payment as Stone Cold and I am sorry she lacked charisma she just had the physique. She was not about paving the way for women. She was written in to win IC belt. She thought she was a part of the Kliq. The female wrestlers today are more relevant because of Stephanie McMahon. Charlotte Flair she is not. My point is in life there are obstacles it's how you handle it. I was happy she was teaching English to Japanese students. However the porn dating X- pac doing sex tapes and drugs are a no go. Triple H and Stephanie did not cause her death. She did, yes it suck what happened but she could have been a winner. Believe in yourself and do what is best for you. There is no debate on that. There is nothing wrong with getting therapy for depression drug abuse but you have to be responsible for your life.

I remember specifically the first time she came out and debuted on RAW as DXs bodyguard and I couldn't believe my eyes. I never saw a woman so big and muscular in my life. HHH broke her heart when he got with Steph. But also he was with her behind Chyna's back until he broke the new to her. He was with Steph way before it was known to her. And that's what costed her her job in WWE. Vince was probably scared for his daughter's life without a doubt. Top that with the awkwardness that H probably felt being around her. But most of all Steph. I believe Steph was the main reason. We all know how women are. And just Steph bring around Chyna or just knowing she was working in the same place of the woman who probably still had a lot of feelings for her man. Then Steph's awkwardness as well knowing that she was banging H while they were still in a type of relationship. Jealousy.

Chyna had a broken heart and never got over HHH, you can't blame Steph or HHH, The biggest misconception in life is we think we can control who we fall in love with. That's not true, attraction comes in many ways. She suffered from mental health, and couldn't mentally get back to a balanced ground. It's a sad story

Miss her so much! Why she’s not in the HOF in her own right. Not just in DX. She deserves her own stage to be placed on. The only female intercontinental champion. And will be the only one forever.
