Had a Corsair as a loaner while the Aviator was in the shop. Go for the Aviator, you won't be disappointed.
Lincoln is underrated, they should be up there with bentley, bmw and mercedes.
They should be more serious with their performance like Cadillac is. Need more vehicles in their lineup.

They need to put the aviator chimes on all lincolns especially the start up chime
Mine is a flight theme black label and it doesn’t display the temperature above the temperature adjustments only on the infotainment screen. Is this normal?
One of my favorite cars i reviewed still to this day! But this color is MEGA!
Funny, I went to sell mine back to the dealer and they said they didn't want it because that wasn't a popular color.....hahahaha and a big bs to them! I had buyers standing in line to buy my "burgandy velvet" Aviator...just like the one pictured here! It was a super comfortable car and that Revel stereo was incredible. The cons...the massaging seats were a let down, and the seat bottoms were narrow so that after an hour or so you started feeling that hard plastic around the base. No bueno for a long road trip!!! Other than that the only thing I worried about was the electronic door releases. Only the driver's seat has a manual over-ride so if for some reason you were in an accident and you lost power as the car started on fire your only avenue for escape is through the driver's door. I know the chance of that is slim but......

This one did have the air suspension, but I have not tried the coil version to compare.

Would you get this or BMW X7 40i? I know they don't exactly compete but I do somehow find the Lincoln to be a pretty compelling alternative.
I prefer the driving dynamics of the X7, but the ride quality of the Aviator is excellent.

That engine makes allot of noise. Even under light accleration and lower rpms. Is that real or is the mic picking it up?
We are considering a GT and a XC90 T8 in the fall.
The mic I used in these videos (older setup) is a bit sensitive. It was rather quiet in person
how's the ride quality vs a comfortable lexus rx? Which one would give less dizziness?
The RX rides well, but the powertrain and transmission aren't as refined as the Aviator (which I also think rides even better). I'd say the Aviator is smoother overall.

Great drive! I am considering this versus the Range Rover Sport because of the low maintenance cost but that blinking HUD was annoying.
It only blinks in video, not in person (it's a light frequency thing)

man...I'm so torn between the Aviator and GV80 and test drove both for 3 days, the Aviator is roomier, better vision feels much faster, and more technology but it wasn't interesting like the GV80, when I test drove it, so many actually took a picture and it was a true eye-catcher only issue its price and dealer in my country isn't giving free maintenance for 5 years including battery change and brake disc + 60% trade-in after 5 years for new lincoln

My only issue is that the roof slopes too much towards the rear, kills the side profile and it gives it a wagon look. Other than that they have a winner. It's too bad they couldn't execute a car like this. The Continental deserved another generation on the new RWD architecture. How can you be an American luxury brand with no cars?

Miles the 0-60 isn't 6.2 it is 5.4 from motor trend.
Then why am I seeing that it was 6 seconds from car and driver? Are you sure that they didn't test out the plug in hybrid version?

@@leroy5202 Car and driver got 6 seconds 0-60 while Motor Trend got 5.4 sec from the normal Aviator?
I typically use the manufacturer estimates or Car and Driver. Between 6.0-6.2 is what’s reported.

Ford need to learn how to make transmissions. Or at least outsource it. They will never build one good transmission that can last. Stay away.
Ha, I have this exact car and yep, got a brand new transmission at 10k miles!
