糸島市で杉製品を製作している杉の木クラフトさんで、漆塗りの弁当箱ができるまでの様子を撮影させていただきました。
杉という素材へのこだわり、そしてそれに正面から向き合う姿勢が印象的でした。
食品を扱う弁当箱の接着剤には、小麦粉を使用するといった配慮も。
使えば使うほど味わいや温かみの増す素朴な弁当箱は、きっと長く大切に使いたくなることでしょう。

I so thoroughly enjoy watching these videos of craftsman in Japan, especially those that work with wood. There is something about their dedication to their craft that cannot be explained with words. I love to work with wood though my skill level cannot come close to this. Thank you. With respect from the USA.

What mixture was that?? Glue? Wood filler? Is safe for contact with food or do you wait till its fully cured for it to be safe for food? 🤔
I want to move to Japan and work with my hands there.
