This is my second time watching this video what I pick up on that the embroidery stitch on the shirts were very pretty. They were not just a satin stitch. Once you began to play with your family your creative energy and expression flow.

Smocking designs take forever 😂… I did a bodysuit for my friends baby and I did it on a single needle took a few hours 😂
I don’t do many appliqué shirts as I like straight embroidery, then I sew while it’s embroidering! More productive

I totally understand the time issue with embroidering. I am happy you were able to work out some designs and the turned out pretty good. It was lovely seeing your kids, I am always worried about viewers hearing my kids in the background and becoming turned off. But you've broken that mental glass ceiling for me.
Awesome video! I'm with you and do not want to do designs that take too long to stitch out! Which is why I've stayed away from applique designs. I want sketch stitch designs or all stitching designs only. The kids are so much fun! Happy Father's Day Keenen!!

I love your videos. And I am sure others have said. On the mermaid shirt why don’t you find a better water or waves to stitch out. Yes I agree when selling stuff you want it to be done quickly. Hi Angela...for that mermaid shirt, instead of doing those little broken square border things that kept starting and stopping the machine, why not try more of a wave that is continuous? would still look SUPER cute but shouldn't start and stop the machine. Hope this helps.

Any recommendations. I reopened my etsy shop and invested in Etsy ads. I don't get any sales on Etsy so needed something to work. I even invested in replica surfaces to redo all of my product photos. Really hoping to run my small business full-time within the next years.

Angela, what is your husband working on these days?
No noooo…. You have to simplify your designs, absolutely no need to have jumps, tie ins and tie outs for that design. My RA is killing me that’s why I quit embroidery, but watching your video made me want to digitize again. I will see if I can make my hands digitize and I will send you a file that will allow you to do the same design faster.
