NICE sounding Bus: Orion V CNG 1675 on the n45

- Now this bus has got some nice sound. Not sure what the reason is, but this bus sorta sounds like the old mid 90s V's at NYC Transit (400s & 500s..now retired), or the former MTA LI Buses with the Cummins/ZF tranny combo. Dunno what NICE did to make this bus sound like this, but it does sound nice.
This video starts leaving Roosevelt and goes till Bellmore Avenue in Bellmore.
Hearing that engine just gave me a wave of nostalgia...those old 1995 Orion V's from Liberty Lines, different from most Orion V's in NY. Glad I got one last chance to ride one on the Q50 before their retirement.

I like how your opening scene of all the houses reminds me of Archie Bunker's, "All in the Family" theme. Haha. Nice footage though. Hope you enjoyed the ride!

That sure is a nice sounding bus for sure. however the engine in question is a Detroit series 50. I have noticed that Nyce bus uses a lot of the detroit series 50's from the videos I have seen of them. The transmission on that sounds like an allison one just the way it sounds and how quickly it shifts.
Yea that's a good one! I rode it on the 15 back in November. I'm surprised that it runs like that..
