    One really bad thing about House Corrino in the late game, spice payment is 11K+/-, even with 4 fully manned harvesters... you'd be scrambling.

    I think you should do updated videos on the other factions. things have changed so much from 5 months ago.

    The councilor only makes the first 2 units cheap and weak. It is a great pick if you realise their passive gives more attack. It allows you to have a trash army. And siege since sarducar have problems agains buildings. Combined with the train capacity and boost to air fields, it is a great wave reinforcement (build 6 infantry, transport it to the front, repeat). Also the new base you can drop counts as a base for the distance calculations. And gives you more slots for upgrades. Both bases have higher attack range so you can defend adjacent villages

    Also keep in mind, tech tree becomes exponentially longer to research the more techs you already have. This is multiplicative with the tier of the tech. Therefore, taking too many T1 or T2 before getting those T4 is counter productive and takes longer in total actually.

    As the second zone I'd go for the one with Minerals to get a good Plascrete production going to not stall early game constructions (especially since Corrino gets a lot of village Slots, and that costs a lot of Plascrete).
    Wind comes in clutch after you get Water Trade!

    @mrsoggyramen9596 Год назад

    Also if you get a plascrete zone with the 20% of plascrete as solari claim it immediately. With two plascrete factories that’s 90 plascrete and with the buffs you can get a village with around 180 solari production.

    I just won (1st win PVP) with the economic strategy as Corrino. Only works if other players let you alone and fight themselfs

    • @TheDutchActuary
      @TheDutchActuary  Год назад

      The idea behind the Corrino in PVP seems to be that you want to make yourself unattractive as a target. Your enemies decide to fight eachother instead, and by the time they get around to dealing with you, it is too late. It is definitely not a strategy that everyone will appreciate, but I like it! :)

      @@TheDutchActuary Yes this is probably the main strategy behind this House. However it happened to me several times that a Fremen or even an Atreide player (that can both expand very quickly) rushed tiles really close to my main base early on, and that ruined all my expension possibilities. I was really struggling to survive they even didn't had to attack me to keep me weak. I could,'t take tiles back because Corrino is not a major army power

    Great guide! I had questions about your third village. Should you wait and accrue authority to get the second spice field as your third place always? It's actually very geographically far from me even though its only 2 provinces away from my main base so the authority cost is extremely high.

    • @TheDutchActuary
      @TheDutchActuary  Год назад +1

      That's really unlucky (and potentially where Corrino can get cheated out of a game quickly since the placement of the villages in the zones can make a HUGE difference), but with only a single spice field you'll likely fall behind.
      That said, if you have some good zones very close there *could* be an argument for taking 1-2 of those first - but you're going to need that second spice field sooner rather than later.

    This strategy is so good. Just had a game with economic victory so fast ! 1.3k gold per day. It is so easy, it needs to get nerfed I think

      Other factions can produce good Solari as well. In a multiplayer FFA setting, other players would just buy shares as well to slow you down :) It's not busted, it's viable.

      House corrino excels on a lot on solari at a cost of longer time to expand its hold on arrakis and astounding spice fee to the spacing guild

    Speed of the game has no impact on how much your Ornis get eaten.

    You are not getting 6 village traits per village. Those are flat bonuses.
