The cast deliver one of their best roles of their careers in this well crafted, well directed, stylish & intriguing British biopic. (87%) (4.5/5 stars) (positive)

Might be the only one who wants this but i'd but up for having Kermode go to America Frost style and do an interview with George W Bush. Make a film of it and call it Bush/Kermode.
Starring Jason Isaacs as Kermode and David Morrissey as Bush.

I agree that Sheen should have gotten an Oscar nod.

I love ya Mark but The Piano is a amazing movie, Keitel kicking ass as usual!

Frost Nixon is a fantastic film that brings a potentially boring political drama to life and also manages via a great performance from Langella to humanise a bad president rather than a one dimensional crook .Nixon was not a good man or president but this movie like Anthony Hopkins performance showed a man with issues that in some ways wanted to be better but was unable to be better

I actually really enjoyed this. I never thought i could enjoy people sitting in a room and talking, then came this and later The Social Network.
(Mayo was actually really funny in this review too)

@hughoc But that's the way Richard Nixon ACTUALLY TALKED. If you listen to any recordings of him he was melodramatic and anything but subtle!
Listen to the speech he gives at his farewell address and tell me Frist Nixon didn't nail it.

Is it me or is the interviews been scripted to appear more aggressive than they were. Langella portrayed Nixon more broader than he was during it

@Beestroker No, if it had been released then there would have been talk of it. Is Ian Beale due to be involved?

@etocadet hmm sorry to butt in, but black swan had very little ballet in. If you didn't like the film, it certainly wasn't because it was about ballet.

You must have no understanding of a nuanced performance. Michael Sheen is a very competent actor.

Please tell me that somebody else out there thinks Frost/Nixon was over rated?
While I accept Langella (Nixon) gave a powerful performance, the dialogue was as subtle as a sledgehammer.
    Its all subjective I suppose.
I enjoyed his review more than the movie. Now

Y'know you don't just MAKE cult films ... neither do you limit its chance with potential audiences. Basically, nothing you've said is an argument against the film - I mean if you think its theme's clearly uninteresting to most men then you must not know what it actually is.

Just watch the actual interview. The movie does not depict the interview well at all.
