- If you watched the NBA Playoffs this year, it would be difficult to say you don't see Jaylen Brown's potential. He took every challenge on head-on, and showed the world his abilities. Check out why we believe he is a future superstar in this league...
Brown and tatum should be the untouchables for boston.
glov allsilence rozier too
Jay B idk bout rozier I love scary Terry but he don't have as much potential
@ Glov "rown and tatum should be the untouchables for boston." Agree 110%
Rose legacy having those three together with the chemistry they have will be best especially if kyrie leave
No ones untouchable in boston, Aigne flips whatever he wants
I'm just glad to see someone giving Jaylen some love
Brown and Horford are the most underrated celtics
nigga cut that damn unibrow already jeez
Horford especially. Brown has gotten plenty of recognition for a 2nd year guy. Horford gets all the hate. Here in Boston people are that a max player should have better stats and fail to see just how effective and unselfish he is. Bandwagon fans that just want 30ppg scorer with no defense because fantasy basketball or not knowing the game or some shit.
BPD MF they do the same thing with draymond. Its sad to see
spoken truth
It's crazy how the Celtics are lowkey forming a super team!
hope sooo
Nicholas Pagano you’re actually an idiot
Nicholas Pagano they're starting lineup (Kyrie, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Horford) is all all-star caliber players. Plus Kyrie is a borderline superstar, and Tatum and Brown have superstar potential as mentioned in the video.
Nicholas Pagano lmao what a idiot
With the addition of a top 5 pick in next years draft a la Zion
He is slept on cuz of tatums success
he should take some moves from kyrie and jayson tatum
cuz i think he relies on his athleticism more than his skill at times
@Not Ric Flair really? That's dope. I remember t mac offering to workout with someone over the summer but I can't remember who. Was it jaylen?
The_Real_BruceWayne i think it was markelle fultz but im not sure
tmac worked with foxx last summer
@@kerzonmendoza6023 yeah I think it might have been Fultz too
WDGAMING14 / BOTH ON PS3 AND PS4 he's not creating. He's offball mostly.
Straight up nasty and has a great attitude. No fear, super competitive, a team player, very intelligent, hard worker, great height/length, super athletic, so far hasn't been injured (other than nasty concussion and hamstring in the playoffs that he played through), and just plain fun to watch. Graceful as fuck with or without the ball. All he needs to be a top tier guy is an 80-85% plus free throw percentage and a little better court vision (although it might be a product of the system in Boston that no player gets many assists and even though they pass a lot they don't individually rack up assists).
Even with this video most people still have no clue how insanely good Jaylen will be. You’re talking about a guy that wakes up at 4 in the morning, fast, works on every weakness of his game, has an insanely high positive mentality mindset. The best aren’t the best based on talent and athleticism, it’s those that put in more work than everyone else and he has that coupled with his insane athleticism, incredible dedication and brains this dude will be a Kobe, Duncan, Kawhi, KG level player. And his posters will be more beautiful than all of theirs along the way!
He's a Beast
He is a future star
As a Celtic fan im super excited of whats to come and one of the only things id like to see brown be able to do is be a playmaker for his teammates and his passing can increase so he could run point and set everything up offensively we would be so much more lethal
He’s so good already as just a raw athlete with a deadly spot up shooting ability
He’s gonna be ridiculous when he polishes his game
He has a crazy work-ethic and is extremely smart. I think he'll be a top 10 player easily in the next 3 years.
sWampY 😂😂😂 Stop it
you gotta put the beats in the description GAWD!
laurence. S the beat is hype life by kid ocean
This song is impossible to find besides RUclips
His explicit moves always remind me of the all-time Celtics Paul Pierce... I love those fowards with IQ and nasty footwork
Love him! He’s a beast on the court but his mentality off the court is what will push him past his peers!
Mub33b i hate those answers because u tell u what u only know this guy because you Do watch Basketball. u dont know him because of his mentality bla bla
thats why the highest skilled basketballplayer always should be the Best whatever. truly u need to be a teammate and have the right mindset. without He wouldnt B a nba Player. rate basketballskill if u look Basketball and nothing else pls that makes u looking for hate in my opinion and I also hate hate
T. Welbeck I don’t even know what to reply back other than - dude you need spell check, grammar check & a reality check because I don’t know what the fuck you said or were trying to say with this comment.
YRN TJ i tell u guys the truth. if u look bball rate bball nothing else
Mub33b im sorry i was speakin in my language. what i was sayin was: beer here is expensive so i dont Drink alcohol
Mub33b i need a reality Check because you dont know what Iam sayin???! wtf lol okay xD
Just received the biggest contract in NBA history baby!!
Jaylen Brown is the best all around Celtics player. He got WAY overshadowed by Tatum this year, which is a damn shame. And all of the trade rumors are just pathetically disrespectful. Dude is our best wing defender. He was on KD in that win when Kyrie was on the bench and we ran up 19-0 run. He makes Kobe like shots. He's got the physical tools, defense, 40% 3pt shooter, once he puts it all together this year, there will be no question who is the best Celtic. He's already close to Butler level, and way past Kawhi in year 2. Tatum will be a star too. But I see Jaylen as a superstar, all around player. He could easily grow into Kawhi Jr, possibly Kobe Jr. His shooting is great. Defense, great. Playmaking, underrated. Rebounding and rim protection, great. He was dropping 30 point games in the playoffs as a second year player. Went head to head with LeBron in year 1. I cant wait for him to evolve into consistently being his best self, and throwing a bucket of cold water on all the people sleeping on him.
Tatum is the star 2 way scoring wing. Brown is the all around superstar. Hayward and Horford are the all around vets. Kyrie is the scorer. Terry is the 2 way backup. Smart is the defensive backcourt ace, Baynes up front. Semi is growing into a nice 3&D forward. Theis is a great backup big. Morris is a nice wing off the bench. Bird will be an awesome microwave scorer off the bench. Hopefully Williams can develop into our version of Jordan Bell, but more dominant, up to poor man's Capela levels.
@equi nox
I homestly dont understand what you're trying to write. Its unintelligible
He wouldn't be overshadowed if he didn't sprained his hamstring early in the 1st round. He was still limping during the Sixers series and by the time he's quite healthy, Tatum is already the hottest guy on the team.
Jacob Thomas I love Brown but Tatum is better skill wise Brown relies on athleticism a lot
@@DarthRevan823
Tatum is obviously more polished and skilled. But Brown's natural athleticism is something Tatum will never have. Better passer, rebounds, and he's still a 40% 3pt shooter.
@@DarthRevan823
If Tatum is Durant, then Brown is Kawhi.
Just your intro makes me hit that like button instantly. Who ever made it deserves alot of credit... it's so fire.
Great video man! Btw could you tell me the music in the vid? Keep up the great work!!!
When he improves his FT% and learns how to control the pace more, basically by polishing his strengths. He's gonna be a top guy in this league. As much as Tatum gets credit for his performances in the playoffs, Brown was a guy that throughout sparked the offense, would give us quick buckets during the beginning of games/ or late when needed, and played great defense on his opponents. This C's team is deep and I'm just excited to see, with a healthy squad, what they're capable of.
He’s an underrated ball handler and improved his shot a lot in 2018
I started taking notes but the the video was so good that I just saved it to watch it again
This video is great. Watching this a few months after his new deal. I’ve bled green my whole life from Boston. I was HUGE on JB before we even drafted him. Our core base wasn’t happy with the draft or his new deal. 🤷♂️
i remember watching this 5 years ago its crazy to see it actualy happen
definitely the most underrated player,
I think he will remain shadowed by kyrie and tatum for a long time
becoz his move is so effective yet so clean and simple
which means not fancy as kyrie and tatum and maybe even rozier
Bruh that intro with music was completely in expected and the coolest shit I have ever seen
Being a Celtics fan, I often will sound biased, but I'm also just a fan of basketball; you have to admit that Jaylen Brown is a top 5 SG in the East. I would even argue he could make the jump to top 10 in the league after his sophomore season. You demonstrated his ability to improve with his PPG going up by 13 in the regular season, not to mention how crazy good he was in the playoffs. A 6'7 SG?! Are you kidding me?! If he's already that tall, I can't imagine his wingspan. His defense is also really underrated. I'm not gonna lie, I saw potential his freshman year, but I wasn't expecting him to become this good this quick. His shooting percentages also went up. People think the trade for Kyrie was a mistake, but look at how better the Celtics have become since trading IT. When you have 5 players in your starting line-up who can score 10 or more points a night, you're bound to win a couple of rings. Future is very bright for not just Brown, but the Celtics in general!
He is full of hustle...
Yo repost my man, mad respect, there was so many doubters
I love it! Definitely one of my favorites! How do you think B.I. (Brandon Ingram) match up against him? You should do Brandon Ingram soon, definitely interested in some of his work!
Great Video You open me next chapter hope for a greater1 bro thanks
Jaylen is one of the most underrated players in the nba. He will no doubt one day be one of the best 2 way players in the league
Not really, you can't say a player is underrated after you've only seen his Highlights.
Thank you as a Boston fan everyone talks about Tatum but I believe Brown will be the bigger star
Thank God people are finally see the potential of my fav player JB
3:23 Did Marv Albert just call him Irving 💀💀💀💀💀
true xD
He is getting too old
i dont even See Irving, there are just 4 Players so maybe He says smtn that makes Sense but its Hard to understand 100%
Ya he did I remember watching that game and was like wtf
Metrell Wooten real talk😂
He kinda reminds me of pre Paul george injury
Been waiting keep the vids coming
Why the gay profile name wtf
Bro,I think this is one of my favorite videos ever. While I love LeBron,I hope and pray that he becomes a superstar, because he shows so much potential. Thank you so much for this. Your the best.
Gotta do one on Terry Rozier, he's got some star potential too.
Chill, that man is already 24 and has shown little potential...
I hope he becomes the best he can be, but let's chill. He has had a couple good games in the playoffs.
Rozier is too far along, he would have been a star already. He is a Kyle Lowry levelish player at best
Mike Kiviranta kyle is a a all star soo how do you compare him to a star and then say he isnt one
sWampY wasnt just the playoffs he played great regular season too he didnt say super star he said star its fair to say he has the potential to at least make one all star appearance
xIpyschoIx People that can make an all-star bench are considered STARS, at least to me. I don't think Terry Rozier can even be considered close to an all-star, even in the east where players like Kemba Walker get in as replacements.
I don't think Terry has potential to be an all-star. He's already 24, going to be 25 in less than a year and the most he has shown is that he can be a 6th man of the year candidate, a good first/second option off the bench on a playoff team that can compete for the finals.
Youngest Celtic to drop 30 in a playoff game. He did it twice in his second season. this guy is definitely on a superstar course
What a time to be from Boston
The warriors are in part, who they are today because both iguodala and david lee agreed to come off the bench to allow barnes and draymond to start, after steve kerr asked them.
I wonder if brad stevens is mulling having hayward come off the bench so either tatum and/or brown can start. Because that might be better for the team.
ReCharredSigh Hayward has size and length enough for PF. As 6'8" he is just 1 inch shorter than the average PF. Or maybe Tatum can play PF like kuzma does for Lakers. Kuz play SF in college but PF in the NBA cause Ingram plays SF
I imagine all 3 will be starting with Tatum at the PF position. The Celtics already run a switch-heavy defense so everybody will spend some time guarding out of position as is, and with the versatility of that starting 5, only liability would be Kyrie. Marcus Smart off the bench takes on centers regularly
Or... get this, the opening night lineup from last year will be the same this year unless Hayward plays on a minutes restriction
Fav player
Brown is a fuckin Beast and that Jumpshot is smooth
I'm back here after jaylen's great performance so far.
I really don't know why I feel this way but Jaylen Brown is the most exciting celtics player. I would put him right there with Wade in his prime in terms of fun to watch
3:23 "Irving off the fake fires for three."
Get your glasses checked, Marv lol. Regardless, Mary's flub displays Brown's improving handle.
Go Celtics!
Also, Jaylen Brown is COMING!
Jaylen Brown is a superstar alright but he just needs to keep working on his offensive instincts. hes an extremely smart kid though and hes been working with the likes of T Mac so i have total confidence him and tatum will be a jordan and pippen esk duo!
Btw the track is kid ocean: hype life
Ey no credit for dad here? I taught him those reverse dunks smh people these days
He has the potential to be a top 5 player of all time
Killer work ethic
I agree, he cold
He’s a beast ik all the hype in Boston rn is all about Tatum but I feel like Jaylens ceiling is just as high
Lol... No
He's still got a long way to go till he's a superstar, his free throw needs work, his mid-range could be better and he needs to be able to create his shot more often.
Jaylen Brown and Klay Thompson mirror each other in what roles they are going to be on their respective teams. Klay Thompson as we know have insane shooting ability along with great talent and Killer instinct for winning. Jaylen Brown as we know have insane athleticism along with Great shooting ability and the same killer instinct. Only difference is Jaylen Brown's potential is higher than Klay Thompson in which he can be a top 5 player in the league overall in the future. But right now JB can be that "Klay Thompson" for the Celtics when guarding the main Ball handler and great asset for the Celtics switch ability on defense to cause needed fast break pts off turnovers. This upcoming season Jaylen Brown can easily be a top 5 SG in the league with the opportunities he is going to get with the Celtics. Man can drop 25 if he wants to.
Brown , Tatum are gonna be Celtics for life!
Not if the Celtics don't have enough money to keep them tho...
sWampY how will they not be able to keep both of them. Those are the priority over Kyrie and Hayward
Imagine if Cavs come away with a Rozier/Jaylen Brown package instead of the one they got. Those finals last year would of looked a lot different
I'm finally seeing it become to a reality.
amazing player, Boston is stacked with already amazing young players who hasnt grown to their full potential. ive been saying boston will take the next championship over golden state at the start of last season.
I damn near guarantee he will be an all-star next season. He might even be the second leading scorer for the C's due to Kyrie most likely being double teamed on a consistent bases. He's going to benefit the most with Kyrie and Hayward coming back. Also, by watching his off season workouts, he's focusing on his catch and shoot offense and his dribble. Kyrie, Hayward, Horford and Tatum are going to command so much attention, Brown's going to be open on a consistent bases and run amok. The C's are not at the Warriors level yet, but they're going to be a nightmarish match up.
He will be because he is intelligent too.
Dog you got a lot of dribble vids and post move and offense vids but I’d really like to have a shooting vid
Irving, Horford, Hayward, Brown, Tatum... All all-stars this coming season. Pretty much an eastern conference Warriors.
Y'all need to understand that KYRIE and HAYWARD haven't been integrated together in the same lineup...We don't know if that's gonna work... Most likely (which i hope won't be necessary), Brown or Tatum would have to go to the bench and drag in Marcus Smart.
Brown will turn into a more aggressive DeRozan game with better defense. Obviously less emphasis on the mid range which is good also. He does seem like the guy that may want his own team at one point tho. He ain't that Klay attitude guy.
Great video! I think Jaylen can be a Paul George type player in terms of two way potential and being a a borderline superstar. But you should do some attention to detail on these players who I think are real good for more crafty players:
Joe Johnson
Paul Pierce
Dangelo Russell
Andre Miller
Jason Kidd
TBH, he's more of a smoother Jimmy Butler type of guy to me.
sWampY yeah I said that comparison as well, that lowkey could be his floor lol
I really don't see his ceilings being an superstar people always confuse the two I think he'll be an all star with good consistency and Tatum will be a superstar
My second favorite player in the nba
Give me Jaylen Brown’s defense and athelticism, Jayson Tatum’s footwork and handles, Brandon Ingram’s length and playmaking, Kuzma’s postmoves and shooting. And then there you have, an ultimate prodigy. Just appreciation for the talents out there. #NOHATE
Give me GOD himself and there you have an ultimate prodigy...
WTF is this comment even supposed to mean. You just named young people that are good at a thing and combined them.
And i got his autograph when he do a indonedia tour
DAWG YOU GOTTA DO JOEL EMBID
He reminds me of a smoother Jimmy Butler. Like, Jimmy Butler looks stiff sometimes when he drives or posts-up, or does anything. Brown is the oposite of STIFF
im a celtics fan , i always like him more over tatum . i think he has more potential than tatum but tatum has a better 3 pt game .
don't get me wrong both are very talented players , but i'll pick brown for now . he played great defense against lebron too , dk why celtics keep putting morris against lebron instead of brown .
brown played defense like how kobe would do .
i guess i can't be a fan if my channel name isn't boston or celtics . noted
@@WestbrickFansGotNoBrains you need to get off them drugs.
guess you wasn't watching the game on how he played both ends of the floor . tatum had some bad games in playoffs when brown step it up and play greatly on both ends but nobody bat an eye to what brown has done .
Crazy that this is only the 5th best player in the Celtics starting lineup!!
Watch game 4 of the Celtics vs the bucks to see flashes of his potential even though we took an L he balled out and the last shot should’ve went to him
jaylen brown and dennis smith jr aaron grodon and zach lavine dunk contest
The Dunker.... Jordan, vince carter, kobe, tmac & Jaylen Brown... superstar
My boi Throwdown Brown
JB is an all-star already
I wish the best to Jaylen Brown, but we are not gonna act like his handle is tight. He is literally staring down at the ball when in traffic or doing any intermediate dribble move.
His defense and IQ have grown a lot, but he needs to tighten his handle in order to consistently create for himself and others as a superstar. He can be a superstar in his role but he’s got a ways to go before he can be creative and make guys better. Most of these clips show him being a really good system player.
Where are the big time iso buckets over good defenders late in games? Where is the great footwork? Where are the advance level passing reads? Offensively Tatum is closer to being a superstar.
Jaylen can definitely be an all star soon, but becoming a superstar will take more time (especially with the high usage players the Celtics have coming back).
Song is hype life by kid ocean, thank me later
He just needs to make his damn free throws!!
You were right
Im the biggest celtics fan of all time but superstar guards all have 1 thing im common. Ball handling ability making shots for themselves off the dribble creating easy shots. Jaylen doesnt really do that honestly. He is great in transition but in the halfcourt and 1 on 1 he is unpredictable. Thats why tatum already leap frogged him
Dam that beat dope
Tatum and Brown are the studs of the future for the celtics. I don't think Rozier will turn into an allstar. So they will have to sign an allstar big man soon. Horford is good but they need to get him on a team friendly deal for his contract now( 30mill per). I think kyrie will leave. If he doesn't leave then Irving and brown in back court with Tatum playing the forward spots pretty damn good. Exciting team
i wonder what bostons starting lineup is gonna be with hayward back
cash caleb
If I had to guess:
Kyrie
Brown
Tatum
Hayward
Horford
@@MML96769 No, switch Tatum and Hayward since Tatum can play the 4 better than Hayward and is taller.
@@killerreborn34
They're the same height but Hayward is bigger and less athletic; makes more sense to have him at the 4.
@@MML96769 Wouldn't more athleticism be better for pf since you need to play defense more?
@@MML96769 Tatum has a bigger wingspan as well...
I don't know if I love more Brown or Tatum...
Please do a vid for Manu ginobili
I agree with your title
Celtics are loaded af, & they own the King’s pick next year.
Boston is so deep...
whats the name of this track?
Future Celtics starting 5 after kyrie's gone
Rozier
Brown
Hayward
Tatum
Williams
Iam_ Ger damn u got 4-5 right crazy
Do a terry roizer player breakdown.
3:22 they called brown irving lol
Don’t let this distract you from the fact Marv Albert called him Kyrie Irving at 3:25🤣
2:00 standard lebron defense
Man, anyone know the track name?
He was stopped and frustrated by Kyle Korver in the ECF, it was a dissapointement.
0:23 why does it say Playoffs per game
