Man I’ve been waiting for that marauder I remember it in the back ground some months ago late last year I own one my self a silver 04 man you really have me looking at a ported Eaton I was going with a p1sc pro charger
The 2.5 points higher compeession makes a huge difference. Has anyone ever ran this blower on built motor high compression cammed setups? Usually when people do they also swap blowers. That is some of the highest ive seen i have seen m122 swapped ones do 600 on stock bottom end but with e85.

should do a throwback to the 2010 days when I owned a cobra... although I went whipple 2.9 crusher, alot of guys went ported eaton + nitrous. This thing would be a monster with a 100 shot. Some guys would jet for 100 and pick up 150whp and 200+ rear torque 😂
Yea usually on any boosted car nitrous will make more than what you jet it for. I’ve got a 02 2v with a 2.1l Kenne bell. In pieces now getting some coyote rods put in it but once it goes back together I’ve got a few nitrous kits laying around. Plan on putting a little 50 shot on a button. Hoping to have an extra 100hp on the button if need be.
Nowadays they have 2.3 and 2650 tvs options that are better than that old 2.9 especially the 2650 they make more power than a 2.9 at similar boost and alot more torque.
@@justa3v619on any supercharged car it does positive displacement ones not sure it has the same effect on centris and turbos.
The reason tbe nitrous picks up so much on that setup is because they're spinning that little blower to death and heat is an issue. The nitrous shot cools down the intake charge which is greatly needed thus the huge increase.
@@midnight347how do those compare to the 2.1 kenne bells? Mine is for a 2v not a 4v. Just wondering how they stack up to the newer stuff. I didn’t get it to make the highest hp 2v in the nation or anything. Just shooting for 450-500rwhp and I’ve always wanted a Kenne bell because back in the day you was it if you had a kenne bell lol and I never was it 😂. When everyone was driving around in kenne bell 2v’s and 03/04 terminators I was still rocking the old 1990 gt hatch ford racing f303 cam gt40 heads and intake lol.

You gotta remember it is 11:1 factory cobras are only 8.5:1 that's gonna make a big difference especially if it's on e85 I ain't watched the video yet. It's also cammed which normally don't help Eaton cars much but maybe the compression changes things I'm not sure honestly.
Is it laying over at the top? Kinda sounds liek that or belt slip?
Dyno graph doesn’t seem to show laying over. We are still in the very early stages of this combo. The exhaust leak isn’t ideal. I’m sure we can tweak this setup even more with some more time, the right pulles to tweak boost, and experiment with belt sizes to optimize belt slip.

Yes
It is if you drop timing enough lol. It's all about boost and timing. It would be alot better on better fuel though.
The cams and stuff drop boost so that also helps
The 4 valve heads have great combustion chambers. Very efficient design.
@@midnight347 yes I’m setting up flex fuel. It will be fairly conservative on 93. But 11:1 might seem high in the 4.6 4v world. In the coyote world 11:1 is a really good sweet spot

Yes you need all the other parts like the intake and pulley bridge
You also need the lower intake manifold with intercooler it can come from a terminator or I think department of boost makes an even better one meant for Eaton swaps
Also just curious why you guys don't use subframe connector? They make a world of difference on converts. Subframe connectors were the first upgrade we always did on on 96 to 98 vortech cobras in the 90s. I worked at a street car/roadrace mustang shop for 6 years. I highly recommend it Andrew.
I have done them before. I never felt a lick of difference. Convertibles come with subframe connectors they work and do good enough job. I don’t really buy into mods that everyone says are needed but show zero proof of actually doing anything. Head cooling mod is another one I don’t see value in. Crank support is another
@@MustangLifestyleTV full lengths subframes absolutely keep the car stiffer. The earlier you do it the better. You have to do the full lengths with the braces to rockers. These fox bodies twist and creap so bad. Especially with that much power. The short subframes connector are junk . All my fox bodies felt solid after installing the full length x braced. I did mostly road racing with my notch and it was night and day.
@user-ye6rn7pp9h to be fair foxes are alot more of a tin can vs these. These are still on a modifier fox chassis I know but it's much more rigid that the old foxes...a tin can is more riged than a fox lol
@midnight347 barley modified foxes. The 05 and up were a huge improvement. Road cars builders and this applies to street aswell, Is building a solid foundation before throughing big power and making your car ride harsher from springs. Sean Hyland. Kenny Brown, Maxim motorsports , steeda all do this to there cars. All these guys were big racers before parts sales men. Unibodys twist its just a fact .
Man id love to do what yall do. Just tinker with mustangs all day doing fun shit like this. The car scene around here isnt enough to warrant doing this kind of stuff id never have enough content to do anything like that back in mid 2000s if this had been a thing then all my buddies had cool cars. Now they drive suv and complain about missong their old shit. Not me i have 3 rides and no woman dragging me down and no problems.

@JordanSVT my 07 gt500 is running 19 psi with a gen3r and it sees 19 max on 93/boostane (100 octane) so yea I'd say that is pretty conservative if they're on e I didn't catch it in video.
Also have to consider the compression on this motor in regards to the timing

Less boost than your car......boost is relative. You likely have more flow than his car. Less psi, but more volume.
Correct the longtubes and cams lower boost. But I also have it pulleyed for less
