Thank you for doing a whole week of Voice Play and another week of Geoff Castellucci. I dislike Halloween because of what it represents. But, Geoff's performance of Jack's Lament, is his best overall video. I just love how his wife Kathy helps out in all of the videos. I love seeing families working together. Unfortunately for you, I only watch reactions to these two channels. Thank you and God bless.
I have always loved this song. But this version made me listen to it all year long. The makeup is on point. Rick (makeup genius) not only did his hands but there is a suggestion of ribs on his chest.
The acting on this is SO good and moody. I love when he finger walks across the top of the piano and looks so dejected as Mr. Unlucky. The going back and forth between high and low registers really underscores the conflict of Jack.
Be careful of not wearing pants😊. Qofy Reacts was watching Hoist the Colours and got overwhelmed, walked away and forgot he was just wearing his boxers. There was a whole flurry of reactors reacting to Qofy’s reaction which was quite a sensation! 😂

I love how he dramatizes here, and all the effects. He should do musical theater. I first saw his "Monster Mash" and this *almost* knocks it out of first place for me. I love Halloween, and I'm so glad Geoff does, too. 🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡🖤

Geoff loves Halloween. Kathy said Geoff uses it to buy more pumpkins every year. A good 85 to 90 percent of this sets pumpkins the moon and some of the spooky trees came from his home. He did donate the moon to Layne and Tony for PattyCake Productions. Everything else hes had to take back home.😂😂. Rick Underwood did his makeup magic to perfection.
This is the kind of music that makes Halloween great - Geoff has others but this is perfection (including my first RUclips music I ever heard) like The Monster Mash which turned me to VoicePlay and I now reside happily in my rabbit hole. Love that Geoff and Kathy brought most of those props from their home and property.

That last part, after the end of the song, where Geoff/Jack is still sitting at the piano with that sad expression, and the snow starts falling, and relooks up and gets the faintest smile on his lips and reaches out to touch the snow... It always touches me to tears. And I didn't even see the movie! 😅

This song IMMEDIATELY went onto my playlist :) One of my all time favorites of Geoff's solo works! This is a great showcase of his range, control, and agility with his voice. He's absolutely mastered his instrument & somehow just keeps getting better and better with each new cover he releases.
