In my Goodwill, the were selling the Moana hook for $24.99 used. I think they are training the people that are pricing to check Ebay comps. Unfortunately I think they look at listings and not sold comps. I just read an article that they stopped taking donations because they don't have storage space. Maybe if they lowered the prices, the same items wouldn't be on the shelves week after week.
Some goodwills are worse then others. Most around here are over priced, but we have one where they keep the prices low and don’t send anything to eBay to be auctioned

Great video. I primarily resell LPs and Books but I always make sure to check the Toy and DVD sections for the occasional gem. Certain puzzles in great condition can go for good money. If you ever see puzzles on certain artists they're always worth a second look ie. Frida Kahlo, Norman Rockwell etc. Same goes if they came from an art gallery exhibition and are discontinued.
I work a full time and go thrifting part time on the weekends. It’s a lot of fun but maybe the thrifting hobby can turn into your full time job. I’ve been making some really good money on vintages clothing and other cool stuff.
I have hundreds of DVD’s so I thought I’d check eBay to see if I could make some cash... well .. I ended up buying a complete collection of Studio Ghibli.. so damn...
@ Part Time Pickers Matt, the Retron can cause startup issues with particular games, you'll think that the game isn't working correctly when it's still good, especially if they haven't been cleaned properly. Also, some of the cic chipsets or lockouts will not properly dump the rom to the system and cause interference on startup as well so that's something to think about in the future.

I wouldn’t use a Retron as a test system..those aren’t even compatible with all NES games, plus they grip the cartridges so tight you’ll feel like you’re going to break them trying to get them out of the system..there’s a reason they don’t sell for much haha
Once you start selling and shipping frequently, it’s actually automatic. 0-4 oz same rate, 5-8 same rate, 9-12 same rate, 13-16/1lb same rate. Then anything over 1lb will be flat shipping but will get tricky depending on dimensions and whether 1lb 1oz to 2lb, 2lb 1oz to 3lb etc, but fairly easy to estimate

Biggest clue is they dont want to actually just return the item. Other clues have been. No images of proof, the item looks off and more. If i had the item so long i sometimes just give it and then may or may not block them afterwards depends my mood.
Almost $275 on a volcano vaporizer. It was a honest return. Usually if someone is asking for a partial refund they are just trying to scam the system a little

Google lens is good for pictures. The eBay app is good if you want to search by name. Hope that answers your question
