Wow I’m so surprised you said ~30k for kitchen remodel and ~10k for bathroom remodel! I’m looking to remodel those items in my house and I was assuming 50k for kitchen and 30k for bathroom (though I am looking to expand my bathroom)
Yeah, that’s the average costs for my projects, but yes, home owners usually have to spend more because of higher quality materials used and more detailed craftsmanship requested. And you are right, the scope of work determines the cost too. I had to pay a lot more for my own kitchen because I got custom cabinets, and slab countertops, etc

Do you have any Northeast cohorts who you can compare renovation costs with? I can't believe that it's less expensive to renovate a high-end west coast home than an East Coast home? Can you do a comparison on this? You have a huge audience that is not just on the west coast ! We love you but the reno costs on these west coast shows seem crazy to us. They seem very unrealistic to coastal regions. Thanks.
Do you have a chapter that explains how to build correctly SOW? Will we be required to take an interior designer for a flip, or just for the kitchen or showers or not at all? Will we be required to prepare an electrical plan? or the contractor does everything?

I am a bit shocked you can do kitchen remodel for that price. I have 16x10 kitchen and the cost of the cabinets and counters is 40k before install. Total kitchen is closer to 80k+.

I love the videos but the finish isn't quite my style that's why I prefer to fresh build on new land but I'll branch out occasionally
