How do you even get the carts to make contact with the 72 pin connector!? I just got mine today and it only works 1 out of every 3 times (already cleaned them, it's something else)
Sorry you're having trouble. I've had issue with these things quite a bit in that regard, but I think it's a combination of the Hyperkin's third party design and also the fact that the NES cartridges are by nature a pretty primitive technology. I highly recommend the good old fashioned blow on the pins strategy, it still works with the Hyperkin. I've used it a few times recently testing games. And make sure to push it in there real good, sometimes you have to really shove the cartridge into the Hyperkins to make contact (don't force it too much though.) It can help to reset the system sometimes as well. Hope that helps, good luck!
In SMB3 when you jump on a goomba, It sounds werid, try Castlevania III on it
It does sound weird. There's something distorted with the sound on this one too.
