Growing up in Tennessee, I never saw this commercial on television. However, it was often played in between the coming attractions whenever I would go to the movies and the first time you see it on the big screen like that it looks like a real movie trailer! You don't realize until the very end what it is. Thank you to everyone who is and has served in our armed forces!

Firstly you must understand that to many of those who have served in the Corps's ranks, the U.S. MARINE CORPS is a beloved treasure or almost a religion to some degree. It's a shame at how feminine the military is nowadays vs back then. It always such a man's career and you could feel the testosterone oozing from the commercials. Now the military is soaking itself in dumb identity politics. As a man, these commercials just made you want to enlist right away. Nowadays, young men see no reason to join because the military aren't putting focus on being manly anyone. They want young men to fight and sacrifice their lives, but they are catering to women, who don't normally fight in war. (Not saying that women are the problem, but most of our protection comes from young men fighting the enemy, not young women.) It makes zero sense.
Weren't knights like basically the henchman of a king and didn't kings like just kinda go exploit all the serfs and peasants of their land, and like the nights, were there to make sure they stayed in line and do the kings, bidding and stuff?
