Hi Sahil, I was waiting for this video from long time. Thank you so much for the detailed information. Special thanks to Simran for guiding and sharing experience. 👏
Electricians make 1000 a day, Good truck drivers make 500 a day. Good thing about Canada is that all type of skills are respected and rewarded. P.S: I'm fluent with SQL, B.A role enthusiast.
I wonder how can Mr Singh compare Power BI and Informatica ? Both are meant for different purpose. The former is a reporting tool and the later is the ETL tool.
Hi Sahil, kindly invite someone from FINANCIAL PLANNING or FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY background because there are many students aspiring for these courses so it will help us a lot in gaining information about these courses and career prospects.
Hey Sahil, been following your videos for a while and you have some good content out here. But I've been left disappointed that you haven't covered Supply Chain field at all in any of your videos. All we see is majorly IT related jobs and courses. I hope you deliver something apart from IT too. Looking forward. Cheers!
Hi Bro. Sorry to disappoint you but there are certain reasons my content is shifting towards IT industry. 1. People from other industries seems to be less interested in sharing their experiences. Trust me I have tried a lot to bring variation to my content but got a very dull response from speakers and audience from other industries. 2. When one get such responses, it's so demotivating. 3. Another major reason. Networking outside of your industry is really tough! I am a data integration developer and reaching out someone from a completely different industry takes a lot of time and energy. I cannot directly reach out to someone for a video without verifying their industry experience and communication skills. People seems to be less open to connect with someone from different industry. But still trying and not giving up. I am from software industry and yes you will see a lot more content related to software industry in future because that's what I am passionate about. But this doesn't mean that I won't bring forward people from other industries. I want to deliver same quality content for other industries as I am delivering for Software industry. Sorry for the delay and thanks for your love and support.

ETL process is correct, But its between databases to warehouses (Data). when u transfer data from independent collection points to one central location for quick and clean access to data. During this process I believe ETL or ELT is used. Please correct me if I am wrong
I think it depends upon the use case. If a destination requires a specific data format then ETL can be used. But yes, ELT is modern variation of old ETL processes. When the destination is data warehouse ELT can give more flexibility to the companies to transform their data at any time.

Hi Sahil, Firstly thank you so much for such informative videos you make. I'm currently working as a big data engineer whereas my aim was always to become a data analyst. I'm planning to do a masters in this field from Canada. Do my experience as big data engineer be helpful as experienced professional or will I be considered as fresher in Canadian job market?
I've completed mechanical and currently working as data analyst in a startup.I wish to do masters in data science in. Canada after a year. Will it cause problems in admission since my graduation is field is different?
Hello sahil, after completing meng in electrical and computer engineering, can i go for data analyst or it will be hard to me and have to choose SE side?
Since I am an electrical engineering and I am planning to do certifications and get the job in Indian market then after some experience I am planning to do diploma course from canada in data analytics is it good? In data analytics role basic coding knowledge required or we have to do more coding in data analytics? Pls answer sir
Yes, you are on the right track. You can also explore the courses like one provided by St Mary's university Halifax (Masters in data analytics). You need to be good with python programming. As compared to SDE roles, yes companies don't expect that much coding.
Sir, thank you for this informative video. I have a doubt if a person has just finished his or her masters or bachelor degree then he or she would be consider as a fresher only. And everyone is fresher after completing degree courses so there is no point that a person should not be hunder percent fresher to get a job. Everyone starts from a scratch and new to the field. So everyone is fresher only.
Yes, considering industry experience everyone will be fresher. But there are certain things you can do to overcome this. 1) Co-op/Internship - this way you will have some industry experience 2) Academic projects - you are studying and you should try to leverage the academic experience. If you want a detailed answer to this particular question, watch my video with IT recruiter where he answered this particular question.
