@@MapleWhispersASMRoh but they are, the hand movements, the light percussive unintelligible whispering that’s practically rhyming along in song with the rainfall, the light rain samples (or was it actually constant all along?), the sparse chirpy and aggressive birds, the random bored old doggo, and the demure rolling traffic all are very effective at calming and soothing the mind
@@DominicRyanOsborne The birds/rain/doggo/traffic are all from a 10 minute clip I took outside that window from earlier in the week. The only thing I added into that was some deeper wind in trees sounds, since everything from my track was leaning more towards the top end, and I wanted something in the bottom end to fill it out.

I'm literally shaking in thingles from those unintelligible whispers omg 100/10
So the trick I tried for this one was while I was recording the unintelligible whispering I was making a really over-exaggerated smile, so the tone of the words just came off as much more friendly and lighthearted!

I think I'm the only one on 🌎 who hates rain sounds. It's so distracting
It's always crazy to me how subjective relaxing things can be from person to person! It must be quite frustrating to hate one that's a bit more universal though, I definitely feel for you!

@@LoriCysta It can be frustrating to try to balance appealing to a wider audience while also trying a variety of things to keep it feeling fresh. Too bad I already deleted the file from my editing software, or else I could've sent you a file without the rain track added in!
Yeah, you might be the only one - but I also have a few that seem untenable, such as chewing, eating, loud mic brushing, & those really loud vocal pops that mic pop filters can remove, & which are used everywhere in pro audio, yet almost nvr on YT.
