Nice video. Gloves? Sounds like it's too cold for me to operate. I'm spoiled. It has to be 60 degrees or better for me to operate portable. Barry, KU3X
Fort Steven's is a great camping spot, huge! I'm always a bit hesitant to try POTA from inside ANY RV park due to the typical electronic noise that gets picked up from all the RV electronics. But this time I was able to just drive over to the guest parking area and found it to have a relatively good noise floor on the radio.
Hey Nick - good to hear from you again. If you're referring to the audio you hear, I capture it via an external mic on my Canon M50 and on the Hero 8 GoPro. I use a Comica CVM-10 II on the Canon. It patches right to the camera with no pre-amp. When I get to editing everything I'll sync the two camera audio feeds and use which ever one sounds better. Often times the GoPro catches good audio but also the static of the radio. The Comica on the Canon captures my voice better and slightly less so off the radio. I'll send all the audio for some post mixing before sending to YT. Thanks for watching!

How are you doing the recorded CQ on the 891?
