It seems like every month someone else, be it a friend, relative or as in this case an artist who we connected with at a certain point, leaves us. Obviously every person goes through it but I find it really difficult to accept. Life has passed much too quickly.

I know back surgery hurts. Bless you, you gave us so much music. My nerves broke loose. Vertebra’s crumble over the years. Good doctor replaced them with rib bone. I can never fall again. Back is fine but inside nerves and organs very sore. Takes 2-3 yrs to heal.

As a 70 Year old man myself, I was there, from the beginning, when folks didn't care for his style of music. Ya got to admit "Bat out of Hell" when heard first, was not a catchy song. Disco days & all ya know. However as he and Jim Steinman worked together with Tod Rungren who really helped kick in doors they just snowballed all the way to the end. And it was the biggest star in the group "Meat Loaf" that had to be there to pull the final curtain down on THE BIGGEST AND BEST BAND ON EARTH!!! Didn't mean to leave his daughter and the assume "Patty Russo out. She of course was in the dashboard lights." God Bless you Meat and thanks for the many years in my car at 80mph on the highways of KC,MO I-435 & I-70. I will listen to you to my ending days. Just got over a heart attack myself, live alone and was found almost not breathing but just knowing how you left us in so much undeserving pain, I ain't far behind you. Heaven won't wait too much longer for me but I just took up the slide trombone as I am down here living in New Orleans now and even if I die not able to play a note. It's just something I have wanted to do all my life as my Mother played one in her High School.
