  • A cup of tea brewed in the mellow water of an iron kettle is a blissful experience.
There are many ways to answer the question, "What is the tea ceremony?" There are many ways to answer the question of what the tea ceremony is: the tea ceremony as culture, the tea ceremony as art, the tea ceremony as etiquette, and the tea ceremony as fun.
Japanese tea party is a social and societal activity that brings people together, and I would like to focus on the gesture of hospitality that is expressed in the spirit of once in the lifetime (Treasure every encounter as it may not come again) meetings.
Beautiful gestures are accompanied by beautiful sounds.
"Wabi-sabi" which symbolizes Japanese culture, is based on a spiritual concept, and it seems to me that a sense of beauty is derived by sharing "sensitivity and emotion" with the guest to face the present moment.
"Wabi-sabi" are words to appreciate Japanese aesthetic sensibilities, which represents “beauty within simplicity and imperfection.”
It is a story of sensitivity that cannot be seen unless one tries to see it, and cannot be received unless one tries to receive it.
Perhaps this is the wisdom of our ancestors, who nurtured a sense of richness by watching the gestures, listening to the sounds and feeling the sequence of events unfolding in the silence.
