@@SahinaArts especially for the back of the leaf - I want to see how many threads you are using, as if it's just two (the two colours) the crossovers would be an utter mess.
It's funny how every time they take a stitch, they've got the exact same working length of yarn. I'm not an expert, but when I sew anything, I always start with a lot of thread and use it up with each stitch. 🤔
Did I miss where you showed the back?
I was going to ask to see the back too.
I adore hand stitching this lesson was wonderful for where to sew the thread in to make it stable.

I was wondering, if you angled the tip of the leaf a bit, could you make this into a beautiful bird’s wing in flight? Hopefully it would be curved in two directions. It would give the impression of motion. It is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
