    This was great! Thought we were gonna do all the moves 4 times, so at half way I thought we were repeating.. The really nice thing was I do most of these in the routine I’ve been doing. It was wonderful to confirm I’m doing them with correct form. Looking forward to lower body. Thank you, Dr Lisa

    Upper body is my weakness. Yesterday I purchased 10 pounds kettlebells for hip hinges which is working well. But 5 pounds dumbbells for other exercises. 4 months ago I thought 5 pounds were terrible heavy and could not handle well, but now I can do all exercises with 5 pounds. So thankful!

    Hi Coach Dr. Lisa ma'am! Is this also for men? I am man and did this with my mother-in-law but it was brutal! I used 1 lb dumbbells but could not even last 11 minutes into the video when my arms completely gave up and my MIL told me to rest. My MIL did the full lesson using 15 lb dumbbells!! Her biceps bulge like yours and she has unbeatable arm strength and endless stamina!! I feel quite low and defeated.

    • @DrLisaMooreDPT
      @DrLisaMooreDPT  Месяц назад

      It's for anyone who wants to build strength. Start with 1 round and build up to the full routine over time. Kudos to you and your MIL!

      @@DrLisaMooreDPT Hi Coach Dr. Lisa ma'am! I am still on 1 lb dumbbells and trying to finish 1 round. My arms completely fail after this and I can barely lift them! My MIL is using 15-20 lbs for the lesson! I tried arm-wrestle test against her arm but even using two arms together against her one arm I could not even move her arm! :(

    Perfect! Thanks very much Lisa! Is there any benefit to doing all three - four sets of each exercise back to back (with a short rest in between) rather than waiting to do each additional set until you’ve gone through the whole “circuit” of other exercises? Or is it six of one, half dozen of the other?

    • @DrLisaMooreDPT
      @DrLisaMooreDPT  Месяц назад +1

      If you are using the right amount of load for the desired intensity, I prefer to do a circuit like this as its more efficient for time. Less rest needed when you move to a different muscle group. You can do it the way you described, but you need adequate rest between sets if you are loading correctly and that takes more time.
