Cool looking car. There is just something satisfying about pulling a car out of a barn or field and giving it a new life. I'm doing a $400 field 67 Cougar right now on my channel. I'll keep an eye out for you on the power tour.
My uncle Charlie had a 59 Fury four door. It had been ordered by the state patrol but refused at the last minute. It had a 393 Golden Commando Hemi under the hood with 2 four barrels. He said it got bad gas mileage but went like Hell. He said he broke three drive lines in it over the years.
Wow what a fine car, looks like it has the 361 engine, may not be because Chrysler had a lot of different engines at that time. I think that is as fine a 59 as you would find.
Great find I would love a forward look Plymouth. Soooo.. they make this thing called a belt, it keeps your pants up so you don’t have the plumbers crack when bending down. Kinda hard not to notice when it’s right in front of the camera.
Great find bud, the body looks nearly mint. Next time put a plastic bag over the alternator when you power wash it though. Water and electricity don't mix well.
GM had the Tri 5's - the bathtubs compared to "our" Mopar tri 5s - the '57-8-& 9s - in '60 Plymouth finally changed up body panels and roof pillars. This '59 last of original Plymouth trio gets the reverse sweeping fins - ol' Virgil really liked the Alfa B.A.T. cars he saw in '53 - the BAT 5 had reverse fins like this. In '59 GM finally got rid of the tubs - but over-the-fuck reacted with their acid tripped out '59s with fins going all over the place like a bad acid trip. 🚗
I bet Cold War motors would just die to have that vehicle.
I was just thinking about them when I saw this!
Scott would have a bit more to work with eh?
@@DanaTheInsane Me too!
Peter Lyons He and Dean would just need to tidy it up a bit
Back In 1988 I bought three 59 Sport Fury’s for 1700 dollars. Those were the good old days.
That same year I bought a '62 Ford Falcon with 42 thousand miles for $1200.00. I still have it.
Car looks great, can't wait to see you guys cruising it on the next power tour!
I cannot believe you found this car in the shape it's in. Amazing! Beautiful example.

Just where in the hell do you find all these BARN FINDs,, shit I have been looking for years and have never found anything worth while
Me and my buddy are addicted to looking at Marketplace and Craigslist for coolshit to buy. Been looking for a 59 Fury for about a year.
Nice hardtop! They are so hard to find.
Great find I would love a forward look Plymouth.

Definitely a beautiful rare gem
Really looks like true survivor.
Is the paint orginal ? Where did you find this fury
Don't you wish all barn finds can come out looking this good with a little cleaning??? Paint color is Copper Glow Poly.
Great find bud, the body looks nearly mint. Next time put a plastic bag over the alternator when you power wash it though. Water and electricity don't mix well.
would hate to get water in that Delco
He was backflushing the diodes,lol.
It's a 1959 I don't think they even had a alternator until 1961? Must have been converted over to one
SOS pad makes them white walls bright
Awsome car!

Is the motor a 361 or 383?
361
chevy alternator ,really !!
Hey Keith long time no see how ya been man
Soooooo Jealous. Your car is absolutely stunning. The only thing that I could see, that might improve it would be having it parked in my garage.
Is he Washing the Car, or Fixing the "Norge"?
Needs better tires for sure
Why not run it thru a car wash
It’s Christine lol
And she’s a beautiful car
If I wanted to watch someone wash their car, I'd hang out at the carwash.... nice car though
If it was a 58 fury I'd be all over that
That was basically car porn... Thankyou,
You call that dirty. CLICK BAIT. My Road Runner is more dirty than that when I get it out of the garage every spring.
Almost 15 min of the same music, never again.
Just mute. Problem solved.
You need a haircut and a close have!
Beautiful car. The engine doesn't look original.
Ass!! cool car
