- Incase y'all are new around here, I placed an order for a 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R back in September of 2023 and just a couple days ago, it finally arrived! I'm beyond excited so I figured I'd share and kick up some uploads. I know I talked about the price & ordering process a lot in this video, but just based off what I've already been getting on Instagram, I figured I'd address some things here. Everyone likes to pretend they're my financial advisor when they're behind a phone or keyboard.

I would get a Raptor (non-R) if it could last past 1 million miles. Unfortunately, I don't think it can. The phrase "you get what you paid for" don't always apply to vehicles.

I work right by the rail yard in San Antonio i may have seen your truck being transported on a trailer past my office. Congrats on the Raptor R probably the coolest truck in production right now.
Congratulations! I think $5K is a great deal given the demand for these. I would never pay $10K, $20K, $50K over MSRP...but $5K to have this truck is definitely worth it.
You can't say something is a great deal if you pay markup. We need to push dealers to go below MSRP and stop giving money away for free. This truck is overpriced event at MSRP and remember this was a CUSTOM order with a long waiting time. This truck was supposed to be his in the first place and dealership had no right to ask extra money for this (if not legal, then ethical for sure). You ordered something at some price, why did it change? $5,000 is still a lot of money in this country, so stop acting like it isn't.

Heads up from a raptor owner who parks in the garage with the same amount of space. Continue to back in like you do. If you ever go front end first hopefully you don’t ever make the mistake of dropping the tailgate on accident. I did and then opened my garage and got a nice scratch through the paint. Nice truck brotha!
Your Raptor R is awesome brother! I got a 2023 Raptor 35 back in October and I love it.
The color is BEAUTIFUL!! I love my Rapid Red but would be just as happy with that green.

Finally an honest RUclipsr. ALL the others are lying saying they didnt pay over MSRP I automatically stop watching. EVERYONE is paying over MSRP this is legendary vehicle. Congrats man looks sick!

My envy is showing in my green face. What a truck! The only thing I would have spec'd differently is no sun roof and no graphics (or the very minimum you can get). That's a 12 year truck at least. Congrats.

Man, that color is insane. Looks completely black sometimes, then green, then yellow/gold, then green and gold! I really like Black on a raptor but I don’t know if it’s a good move or if it takes too much detail away. Sick truck bro.

I'm from the Middle East and I would definitely go with the Raptor R over the Land Cruiser GR as it outweighs the LC in terms of features and power. Hopefully one day...NICE TRUCK MAN!!

Great looking Raptor. FYI, I have the yellow amber lens covers too. But switched to the amber pro color lens cover. They are a darker amber and match the marker lights perfectly.

I currently own a Bronco. This is the only truck that could get me to sell my Bronco. Unfortunately I cant afford to finance for both at once so the saving has definitely started. Have fun with yours!
Enjoyed this video. Love that truck and the color. I agree with your decision on the graphics. The rear “R” further distinguishes the truck, but the front graphics tend to distract, especially in bright light (like your garage lights). Also like that you are going to enjoy it and not treat it as a museum piece. Please post more videos with your new Raptor.

I really like the color ! I’ve got avalanche grey R . It’s my 3rd Raptor & can’t imagine it getting better . Traded in my 18’ Raptor & GT500 in for it . I’m really missing GT500 & need stall buddy

I agree I bought my 23 lariat last month when I saw the refresh I wasn’t a fan. It’s not bad but the 23 looks better imo

Try remote starting again 2 time in a row, when you lock unlock it’ll start, when you lock unlock a second time, rpm will rev

Informative video. Thanks a lot! Truck looks sick. I am a fan of the new color and never had a raptor, but heavily considering a 24. The one dilemma in my head is 35 vs 37. I love 37. But sensible option for me is 35, but then again the truck isn’t most sensible, so may just go 37 lol.

Would you mind explaining the left gauge reading while you are driving. When you are at 50mph the left gauge reads 8 and blue line shows 1.5 RPM.
What are these. I was afraid I was in manual and truck was skipping RPM or gear but I’m in normal mode.
Love the 23, was kinda so,so on the 24. Than I saw one in person and its awesome. The green on this truck looks nice, I have seen it on the Bronco Raptor a week ago. Im keeping my 17 supercab Raptor though. I would love to have this guys income, two mustangs and a Raptor R.
24:00 It is hard to explain how the Gen3 feels to anyone who hasn’t driven it. It ‘breaks the laws of physics’ is what I tell people. It is CRAZY comfortable on-road cruising at 50 or 80. it is PLANTED. We have a house in the mountains and the drive up is very twisty. The truck is willing to go WAY harder than I have pushed it and I have PUSHED it.. grew up around racing and familiar with ‘grip’. Off-road it is cheat code.. it’s only real weakness is its size.. length and width. I have had to pick which side was possibly going to get scratched up at times.. it’s so wide. Also, living in LA.. I can’t go in 90% of the parking decks.
I have owned a LOT of vehicles and my Raptor 37 is my favorite and it isn’t close. Congrats!

With no more Ram version great news for Ford and presumably support for this vehicle which started out amazing then had some major Gen 2 issues.
Make sure you turn on your brake hold so you don't have to hold the brake at lights!

My gen 2 Raptor had the auto start stop that I had to press every time. My 2023 gen 3 (v6 unfortunately) does not have the auto start stop thank god

Beautiful truck. The R is awesome but just more than I need. My 2022 Raptor 37 gets 12 mpg.. with an R I’m likely under 10. Also, we have a place at 5,300’ and the R would lose 100 HP while my turbo loses minimal HP. One tip.. 38 lbs all around in tires will lead to coning. I am 36 front 32 rear at 70° and no weight in bed. That’s from a Raptor experience person. May go heavier in front with that heavier V8. My KO2s aren’t going to make it 3 winters.. likely less than 25K.

Don’t ever use Sour Lake Ford, in Sour Lake Texas. They attempted to fix a cam phaser rattle on my 2018 Raptor and ended up screwing up the entire vehicle. They kept covering the repairs under warranty, but weren’t exactly honest about the repair that ford reimbursed them on. If Mac Haik is any better than them, I’ll start buying my Raptors there! I absolutely love the Green color!

Nice! That luxuriously, smooth drive of your 2024 Raptor R, do you think the regular 2024 Raptor, 35 and 37, would drive as well, as smoothly, on highways and such? I just can't do that low average mpg. And could this use a little bit of a level, and if so, how much? Tough to see that in the vid.
Yes, the eco-boost versions are just as smooth on road

I can’t recall, did you have a supercharger on your gen 1, or just the exhaust and mid-travel kit? I recently picked up a 2013 Roush Raptor and I feel like it’s 80% of the truck for 25% of the money compared to the new R’s. Congrats though, the color looks so sick!
Mine was still naturally aspirated, never supercharged

Damn, still over MSRP where you're at? In Arizona, you can find Raptors and Raptor Rs left and right going for MSRP or below. I have an order in for a 2024 Raptor 37 that's arriving next month and have an agreed upon MSRP pricing.
Send me a 2024 Raptor R at msrp if you can, I have a friend interested. I haven't seen what you're seeing.
